COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This amber colored pale ale was the first beer we brewed together, so it was only fitting to name it FIRST BITE. Generous additions of American hops, light body and a dry.finish give it plenty of flavor and aroma while still remaining highly drinkable. YOU GOT BITTEN

12oz from the bottle. Sent to me as an extra from jtclockwork... Iím impressed. I popped it while updating my cellar tonight... and after not rating anything for over a year, this is what brought me back. A very nice Pale with a fresh hopped, citric finish. Iíll have to try more of their products.

Bottle... Murky amber pour with a small, creamy, white head. Great retention. The bouquet is a hoppy blend of tropical fruits and melons with a touch of pine. Full-bodied and abrasive with busy carbonation. The flavor offers no identifiable malt essence, but provides some very nice, fruity hop bitterness. Finishes crisp, lightly bitter, raspy, and then dry. Bottle courtesy of newcigarz!

Pour is transparent copper with yellowish white bubbly head. Nose is light, pine and rust with a note of grain. Taste is light also, faint grain, piney hop and a faint citrus. Strong carbonation and a light body. Slick on the palate and a bit watery.

Poured into a tall .5 liter glass. Cloudy, deep amber color, abundant foamy white head that clings to the glass all the way down. Great dry ale flavor with a large back bone of hops that is a mouthful from beginning to end. Very satisfying! Just might keep the hop freaks happy.

Bottle, provided by Travlr, thanks. Gushed. Woops. Poured a cloudy, amber color, large, foamy white head. Aroma was some earthy hop notes, touch of caramel notes. Some pepper in this one, earthy notes with light caramel.

Bottle:   Fiery golden, moderate sudsy white head, spotty lacing.   Hoppy nose, slightly dank and wet.   Strong pithy start, slight sweetness, hoppy, with a touch of floral notes.   Tastes better than it leads on with the nose.   Average body and mouthfeel.   Somewhat of a stale hop exit.   Moderate example, not too bright, but decent enough.   Just needs to be brighter, more vibrant.

Copper coloured body with a ridiculously large, eight centimetre tall soapy tan head - not very pleasant. Aroma of pale malt, light hops, earth, flowers and some yeast. Medium-bodied; Strong hoppy flavour with a bunch of floral and herbal notes and a lot of cardboardie malt with little else. Aftertaste shows some yeast and a biting floral note that shows decently. Overall, way too much carbonation in this one and the hop flavours were a bit overshadowed by the malt and there wasnít enough complexity throughout. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from New Beer Distributors in New York, New York on 13-July-2013 for US$2.00 sampled at home in Washington on 09-August-2013.

Thanks to bu11zeye for sharing this bottle. Orange with a white head. The aroma is full of orange citrus and biscuit malt notes. The flavor is very similar with a few additions. I get a lot of orange and pine notes as well as some earth and biscuit malt notes. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation.
