330ml bottle from Kris Wines. Bit too lively this, filling the glass with foam almost immediately! But there is some delicious earthy maltiness to be found under the bubbles, with some additional leaves, fruit cake and a hint of toffee. Nice but could be better if the bubbles were toned down a bit.

Bottle from my sister-in law, many thanks. Dark brown color with medium beige head. Roasted malt, fruit jam in aroma. Taste, roasted malt, milk coffee, caramel, some spices. Harsh bitterness in finish.

Dificil destacar con una brown ale en la escena artesanal ibérica y esta no es una excepción. Huele a pan y a tostado, es marrón oscura, con buena espuma, de sabor dulce y tostadito, tal vez la que menos destaca de Spigha

Bottle split with my grumpy and not so grumpy uncle at Pigs Ear - Cheers Ian ! 03/12/13. Hazed dark amber with a good sized beige covering. Nose is biscuit malt, toffee, light hop notes, dark fruit. Taste comprises dark fruits, tangy, earthy, biscuit crumble, toffee, fruit loaf, dark berry fruit. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, light bitter notes in a dry finish. Ok stuff.

Pigs Ear. The Round Church, Hackney. Bottle share. Thanks Ian. Lightly hazy amber beer. Small off white head. Smooth and softish palate with light fine carbonation. Nice malt, little lactose and toffee. Good tangy dried fruits underneath. Sweet finish. Not bad at all.

Very Brown coloured beer! Coffe notes in nose and mouth. Very little head. Bitter taste well equalize with sweetness. Very nice if you drink it with desserts with cream

Very dark brown. Flavour has bittersweet dark malts. Some coffee and cocoa tastes come through well. Smooth. Creamy. Sweet. Rich body.

Bottle sample at a tasting at the Beer & Beyond shop. Thanks Tom. Pours rusty with a greenish medium head, aroma of nuts, vanilla and honey, flavor of nuts, dark bread, lightly smoked, a bit sourish, medium bodied
