Ruby body, dust colored head. Aroma is strong currants, little caramel, and chocolate, dried fruit. Taste has a little bit of currant tartness, chocolate, some spice. Body is nice, pleasing. Most interesting of the Belgian style fruit beers.

Bottle at Stockholm Beer Festival ... Deep red ... slight (not unpleasent) sour fruit nose ... tart sharp fruit not quite sour ... blackcurrent exploded in mouth a great beer on that alone, but its more than just the fruit explosion.

One-year aged bottle, courtesy of Rob the brewer. One bottle tehre then one put into our luggage as well. An above average fruit beer with Belgian abbey yeast messaging the mouth and soft parts. A good nose of fruit. Well malted, the fruit is right there. Unique.

Bottled at Stockholm Beer Festival. A deep red beer with a slight haze under a thin tan head. The aroma is sweet with strong notes of black currant. The flavor is sweet with strong notes of black currant, leading to a dry and slightly woody finish.
