Beershine (2678), Hue, Vietnam Oct 13, 2007 Have tried at the pub and in bottles. It’s a good IPA, by no means an outstanding example of the style but all the Spinnaker’s beers are good and reliable. TipsyMcStager (900), Calgary, Alberta, Canada Oct 11, 2007 floral hop aroma. Pours a light orange with nice head. Mid range body, piney hop finish BillKismet (1899), Seattle, Washington, USA Sep 3, 2007 Light blonde, with decent head retention. Decent bitter hop aroma, with alcohol well-masked it flavor. Raw-hop bitterness. Quite strong and enjoyable for a Britt IPA. IrishBoy (2686), Bakersfield, California, USA Aug 26, 2007 22 oz Bottle from Enniskillen; Nose of floral hops; lightly hazed yellow-orange with a big, glass-lacing white head; flavor had light hop bitterness mixed with light sweet caramel. Nate (2533), Indiana, Pennsylvania, USA Jul 26, 2007 Draught sample from brewpub. Light hoppy honey aroma, that house character that most have seemed to have, with very mild bitterness. Golden clear with foamy lacing head. Medium body with light carbonation. Nice medium sweet character, grainy with light fresh hops. Medium bitter finish with mild bitter after. A decent IPA. pantani (1895), Salinas, California, USA Jul 7, 2007 Color is gold with a white head. Aroma is light honey, pale malts. Taste is very light, pale malts, nothing really sticks out in this brew, light hoppiness. Drinkable, but not great by any means. mgermani (862), Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada Jul 4, 2007 Nearly no smell - if anything, faint smell of onions. Weird! Clear yellow with nearly no head. Aha! Hops! They bloom in the aftertaste, sharp and bitter. Not bad. Slightly overcarbonated, light creamy body otherwise. Not bad, again, a bit thin and it needs more kick at the beginning, perhaps more bittering hops? harrisoni (6704), Ashford, Kent, England Nov 10, 2006 On tap at Spinnaker’s, Victoria. Pale gold, thick creamy head. Creamy English golden ale aroma, with hop which is hay and dry grass. Creamy in mouth. Not a PNW IPA. Smooth creamy golden ale with tangy slightly citrusy lemony/hay hop finish. Pleasant.
