3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20 BillKismet (2652) - Seattle, Washington, USA - SEP 3, 2007
Light blonde, with decent head retention. Decent bitter hop aroma, with alcohol well-masked it flavor. Raw-hop bitterness. Quite strong and enjoyable for a Britt IPA.
3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 theisti (2371) - Leawood, Kansas, USA - AUG 8, 2008
650 ml bomber bottle purchased at "The Strath" Ale, Wine and Spirit Merchants at the Strathcona Hotel in Victoria, BC. Pour is mostly clear, orange golden with a one inch white head. Aroma of muted resin, pine and fresh hoppiness. Taste is the pine and citrus, the malt is present, though also muted. Near the finish, a mineral flintiness appeared. This reminded me more of an English style IPA. Palate was a bit on the thin side. Overall, not a bad IPA, just a bit boring.

Sampled at GCBF ’10, pours light golden with a white head. Aorma of pale malts and very light hops. Flavour of light hops, quite citrusy / lemony and caramel malt. Disappointing.

Clear amber appearance. Dryish malt, slightly biscuity, slightly caramelly aroma. Dryish palate, touches of biscuit and caramel, fairly dry and bitter but not aggressive in the finish.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 Enniskillen (2008) - Salinas, California, USA - JUL 7, 2007
Color is gold with a white head. Aroma is light honey, pale malts. Taste is very light, pale malts, nothing really sticks out in this brew, light hoppiness. Drinkable, but not great by any means.
2.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20 Sham (1846) - Seattle, Washington, USA - MAR 21, 2005
Amber with a creamy head and spots of lace. Toasted malts and fruity hops. Some orange citrus and floral hops. Caramel as well. Flavor is pretty malty with some bitter hops. There is a note of the fruits again. Watery with a bitter tail. Too malty.

A great IPA, one of the best I have had. Pale amber colour with a white head. Aroma is mostly of malt, and a hint of hops. Mouthfeel is quite nice and creamy. Has a sweet malt taste and a bitter finish. I love the ABV cranked up, oh ha!
