This is the first ipa I have really enjoyed.A great pub with Alot of great beer.Sweet hops, not a trace of that alcohol smell, great buzz if that counts.(I was married at spinnakers)NOTE: I would not normaly rate a IPA this high, but this is apples to apples ie) IPA to IPA ect.It is the best I have had so far.

Bitter hop aroma, very light appearance for an IPA. They say this is 7.1% ABV! Unbelievable! I have never seen alcohol masked so well, it gets points for that alone. I would have believed 4.9%.
3.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20 HazelRah (276) - Summerland, British Columbia, CANADA - AUG 1, 2005
It’s peach n cot season and what better accompaniment than this fruity IPA. Pours orange with lovely long-lasting head. Hops don’t overpower but are still quite well-done. Some yeastiness is there too.
3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 15/20 fiulijn (10000) - Como, ITALY - OCT 19, 2008
UPDATED: AUG 24, 2011 2011-08-16, draught at the brewpub, 7-4-7-4-14=36 Dark blond color. The aroma is nice, but full of cereals and grains. Good body strength; malt and toffee flavor, with moderate residual sweetness; good bitterness level, but not many hop qualities besides some obvious resins. Pleasant bold, non-aromatic, IPA.
2008-08-08, bottle, 7-4-7-5-15=38 Hazy deep blond color. Surprisingly it has a very good malt aroma, like the best German Pilsners, full and leaning to the cereals side. Quite full body, very good malt flavor with very good hopping too, again like a German Pilsners but with a light fruity touch and less crispy and dry. Strange, but very good.

Pale amber colour and a cloudy white head. Lacing to the bottom of the glass. Aroma is mostly of caramel, malt, and a hint of hops. Oily hop smell is quite subtle. Mouthfeel is quite creamy. Has a sweet malt taste and a very long pleasantly bitter finish. Hard to believe the ABV because it is very well hidden. Very good and well-balanced IPA.

A great IPA, one of the best I have had. Pale amber colour with a white head. Aroma is mostly of malt, and a hint of hops. Mouthfeel is quite nice and creamy. Has a sweet malt taste and a bitter finish. I love the ABV cranked up, oh ha!
3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 tiggmtl (4467) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - JUN 29, 2004
Sweet, malty, fruity (peach/apricot), yeasty aroma - almost like a Belgian Tripel. Hazt golden straw colour with decent white head that lasts nicely and plenty of yeast in suspension. Assertive bitterness. Strong hop flavour. Sweet and yeasty. Lightly spicy, kind of floral. Collapsing body a la Fantome or Hitachino though not as pronounced. Bottle (enjoyed with MartinT and Rastacouere).
