(Stockholm Beer Festival 2007) Amber color, offwhite head. Very strange aroma that makes me think of onions. Flavor is better, hoppy and quite bitter.

Pours a dark amber with little or no head. Fruity aroma with mild hops. Mild bitterness some fruitiness in the palate but otherwise unremarkable.

Poured Reddish Amber with a tight thin head. Smelled hoppy and malty/creamy. Taste was faintly sour finishing. Lacked something, but overall good.

0.65 l bottle. Dark amber color. Malty aroma with earthy british hops, tobacco, apple and fruity esters. Vinous, caramelly and woody flavor with notes apple.

Almost clear copper-bronze body with a small beige head. Aroma is like opening a can of peaches in a pine-tree forest. Taste is fruity in a fruit juice type of way (too fruity for me). Like a mix of all my breakfast juices. Not even very tasty except for a very british medium intensity but short bitterness. Once that little hop attack in the finish is gone I am left with a fruit juice feeling. Bof. A british-inspired beer brewed in a city named after a queen and named after a piece of yacht equipment, it so desperately wants to be classy, but this is more a breakfast juice than a reception champagne.

On tap at the brewpub, was quite thin on flavor and texture. Was quite smooth and lacked flaws, but it also lacks anything to write about. Not impressed at all by this one. Very bland.

Pours a clear reddish brown color with a thin offwhite head. Aroma of earthy, spicy hops with malt and peaches. Flavor of earthy, spicy hops with peaches and malt, it’s not bad but doesn’t feel entertaining enough to try this beer again.

Dark amber-brown colour with thin off-white lace. Some yeast clumps are present. Smell is muted, slightly sweet with some toffee and fruity notes. Quite yeasty/bready aromas present as well. Light nutty flavour with a good crisp finish and a slight hint of bitterness. Could have been hopped a bit more aggressively. Fairly uncomplicated, but good.
