Draft at the brewery
Medium dark orange and brown color, with a very sharp clarity. Nutty, creamy maple flavors, slick and uncarbonated, ith a sweet finish of nuts and maple syrup. Fresh tasting, but simple.

The dark malts with the spices added made this easy to drink and had a great after taste.

I’m enjoying my first one as I write this. Pours with just a slight head; nice taste ("nutty", perhaps?), and no unpleasant after-taste. I do like this beer and would definitely drink it again.

Dark brown, medium brown head. Quite a rich aroma of nutty chocloate. Same flavour dominates the palate, along with some coffee and brown sugar. A nice brown ale.

Pours a dark clear brown with a decent off-white head and a commendable spicy aroma - malty & sweet. Tastes quite nice - nutty and light, not too sickeningly sweet but a tad thin. Body is light and decently carbonated. This is an excellent early-fall beer, light and balanced.

Fresh 650ml bottle bought in Victoria 4 weeks ago. Very thin head. Brown beer. Thin aroma, a bit oily with a sour slightly off edge. Having had samples of other beers at the brewery I can only assume that this is a bad bottle and will look for another ASAP. Brown apple cider vinegar.

Dark brown with ruby highlights. No head, unfortunately. Chocolatey, nutty aroma promises depth. Body is moderate, as is the sweetness. Hints of nut, chocolate, muscovado. Probably could use a bit more fullness but what’s here is quality.

Bottle from brewery. Dark brown, no head. Very heavy caramel, mollases, and a light hoppiness in the aroma. Taste is light caramel, nutty, slightly watery, slightly undercarbonated.
