Warning! Early amateur rating! A bitter and somewhat dusty ale. Others said hoppy but I couldn’t see it - just bitter - no hop fruit.

Cask handpull at Crosse Keys, JDW, London. Hazy gold, disappearing white head. Rubbery aroma. OK in mouth. More rubber/bleach on end. Nasty, couldn’t even finish a 1/3 pint

Cask at Lloyds Bar, Cambridge. GOld with a slight lacing and no head. An odd sweet, floral, almost slightly vomit-like scent. Smooth and yet somehow with a fizzy edge. Sweet cereals and biscuit malts in the mouth, with a notable amount of yeast. Dry end but not bitter. Very odd and not very nice.

Cask conditioned @ Giddy Bridge (JDW), Soton. Not especially flavoursome - a little fruit amongst the slightly sweet malt. Fairly drinkable but unimpressive.

Counting house at wetherspoons beer fest. Aroma is seriously minimal i was struggling to get anything at all, perhaps hints at biscuity malts. Taste is similar though theres some bittering hops in here.

Clear golden coloured with a fruity aroma. Some sour fruit flavour, bitterness and dryness in a malt finish.

[Cask at GBBF 2004] An orange beer with a small white head. The aroma is very fruity with banana and oranges standing out. The flavor is sweet spicy combined with fruits - lemon stands out. It has a very dry finish.
