Savor this refreshing glass of complexity. Dark & Dry’s assertive tartness is pleasingly balanced by a hint of molasses and brown sugar. More rounded and intricate than its sister ciders, this potion will appeal to beer aficionados, wine devotees, and cider enthusiasts alike.

Draught at Mckay’s Taphouse, Bellingham
Dark amber color, with creamy head. Never had a dark cider like this before; it has a moderate aroma of red apples, and very light hazelnuts; sweetish flavor, with nice flavor of red apple juice.
More fruit juice than cider.

Contains added brown sugar and molasses. Cloying sweet. Disgusting and undrinkable.

Dark wood-amber with a decent head for a cider. Apple nose that veers towards jolly rangerland. Sweet and candy-apple flavor. Jolly-ranger finish. Not bad, but rather artificial tasting.

Clear amber/brown with a fizzy head that quickly dissipates to a small ring. Aroma of ripe apples, chardonnay wine and light caramel. Flavor of sweet baked apples and then finishes a bit dry and tart. Medium to light body with light carbonation and a dry finish. This is nice, not overly sweet and quite drinkable.

Wonderful. SMOOTH as butter on the palate. Carbonation is light and aids in the smoothness. Pours a wonderfully clear brown with a thin head. Very drinkable, and surprisingly sweet given its advertisement as a dry cider. There are much drier ciders out there, for sure. Like nothing I’ve had before.

Bottle from total wine Chantilly. Pours brown with a note of molasses to go along with the apple. I can’t say this is the most aesthetically pleasing liquid I’ve ever consumed. A bit dry on the tongue with a slight brown sugar note. Eh!

I’m not normally a cider drinker but I really like this one. It’s much darker than I would have anticipated, and pours with no head. It’s dry for a cider, so it doesn’t have that sickeningly sweet taste that some ciders do. Great find...

Bottle from Blue Dog. Pours burnt sienna with fizzy khaki head. This is by far the darkest brown cider I have ever poured. Nose is sweet apples and cinnamon, earthy brown sugar, honey. Very complex nose. Tastes of apple, earthy brown sugar, molasses, with a complex, rather hefty palate and a delicious finish. This one is outstanding.

I couldn’t wait to taste this considering how high it is rated compared to other american ciders. Yes, it does pour rather dark, surprizingly dark for a cider. Dark iced tea brown. Aroma is nice mild and friendly apple. Goes down pretty easy and as a liker of cider, this is pretty darn good. Not overly sweet but you can tell there is still unfermetned sugar in there. A little preservative in the flavor. Surprizingly a little watery too. Easy goin and friendly, can live wit it. Decent amount of sizzle hides what alky there is rather well. Finish is fine, no ill effects. Good overall rating experience. Perhaps a little less alky pop flavors than other american ciders.
