Savor this refreshing glass of complexity. Dark & Dryís assertive tartness is pleasingly balanced by a hint of molasses and brown sugar. More rounded and intricate than its sister ciders, this potion will appeal to beer aficionados, wine devotees, and cider enthusiasts alike.

Clear amber/brown with a fizzy head that quickly dissipates to a small ring. Aroma of ripe apples, chardonnay wine and light caramel. Flavor of sweet baked apples and then finishes a bit dry and tart. Medium to light body with light carbonation and a dry finish. This is nice, not overly sweet and quite drinkable.

Wonderful. SMOOTH as butter on the palate. Carbonation is light and aids in the smoothness. Pours a wonderfully clear brown with a thin head. Very drinkable, and surprisingly sweet given its advertisement as a dry cider. There are much drier ciders out there, for sure. Like nothing Iíve had before.

Bottle from total wine Chantilly. Pours brown with a note of molasses to go along with the apple. I canít say this is the most aesthetically pleasing liquid Iíve ever consumed. A bit dry on the tongue with a slight brown sugar note. Eh!

Iím not normally a cider drinker but I really like this one. Itís much darker than I would have anticipated, and pours with no head. Itís dry for a cider, so it doesnít have that sickeningly sweet taste that some ciders do. Great find...

Bottle from Blue Dog. Pours burnt sienna with fizzy khaki head. This is by far the darkest brown cider I have ever poured. Nose is sweet apples and cinnamon, earthy brown sugar, honey. Very complex nose. Tastes of apple, earthy brown sugar, molasses, with a complex, rather hefty palate and a delicious finish. This one is outstanding.

I couldnít wait to taste this considering how high it is rated compared to other american ciders. Yes, it does pour rather dark, surprizingly dark for a cider. Dark iced tea brown. Aroma is nice mild and friendly apple. Goes down pretty easy and as a liker of cider, this is pretty darn good. Not overly sweet but you can tell there is still unfermetned sugar in there. A little preservative in the flavor. Surprizingly a little watery too. Easy goin and friendly, can live wit it. Decent amount of sizzle hides what alky there is rather well. Finish is fine, no ill effects. Good overall rating experience. Perhaps a little less alky pop flavors than other american ciders.

Sampled on 2/29/2012. This cider pours a medium golden brown color from a 22oz bottle. Small to medium sized white foamy head. The aroma is apples, brown sugar, molasses, fruity and sweet. A light to medium bodied cider. A medium sweet cider. Good apple flavors, with hints of brown sugar and molasses. Start out fairly sweet, but there is a tartness that starts about mid taste and finishes more tart than sweet. Nicely balanced. Mildly carbonated. A very drinkable dry cider. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean, crisp and dry. Aftertaste is slightly swet.

This gem of a cider poured nice and brown with very little signs of carbonation. Aromas were of lots of apples and very sweet - a lot like applesauce. The taste was great, loads of fresh red apples with a sexy dose of brown sugar. Molasses was very apparent and created a mellow undertone that helped aid the dry characteristic of this cider. Finishes fairly tart, and with a lingering sense of a fresh-bitten apple.
