COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Savor this refreshing glass of complexity. Dark & Dry's assertive tartness is pleasingly balanced by a hint of molasses and brown sugar. More rounded and intricate than its sister ciders, this potion will appeal to beer aficionados, wine devotees, and cider enthusiasts alike. Available year 'round in 22-oz bottles and Sankey draft 5% alc/vol

Itís kinda dark. Apples and a hint of spent sugar on the nose. Sweeeeeeeet sugary sweet. There is a hint of chalky dryness in the finish. Thick and heavy. Some toffee. A bit too sticky for me.

I found this enjoyable. Itís not a GREAT cider but it is one that begs to be taken seriously, which is not characteristic of most U.S ciders. Dark color breaks from the mold, too; I didnít see this as that dry. On tap at Quinnís, Seattle.

22oz bottle poured into snifter. Dark color, almost murky brown. Good carbonation. Aroma has hints of apples and spice. The flavor wasnít as dry as I was expecting which made for a really interesting drink. One of the better ciders Iíve tried lately.

(22oz bottle thanks to bu11zeye) clear medium brown with bubbles lining the glass but no head. Nose of apple skin, plastic, a bit of brown sugar also. Taste of sweet apples, caramel, sugar, and fermented apples. Nice linger with soft carbonation.

bottle 12/26/10 pretty dark for a cider... brown and coppery. sweet smell of smashed apples, brown sugar, wood, graham crackers and flowers. the flavor is the same but with an added note of vanilla and some coffee-like nuttiness in the aftertaste. it is sweeter than expected but it does finish off fairly dry. it is medium bodied and rich... sugar provides some depth. 7/4/8/4/16

22 ounce bottle - $3.99 at Total Wine & More in Kennesaw, Georgia. Appearance: Pours a clear, light brown-tinted body with some accompanying suds. Smell: Sweetish, with a scent evocative of Autumn. Drops of molasses and brown sugar fall between the notes of tart, sliced apples. Taste: Sweetish at the start, with a washed-out taste of RC Cola along with, natch, the apples. Modest molasses and brown sugar accents, but emerge a bit as it takes on some warmth. Slender tartness throughout. Fails on one of its promises, finishing fairly sweet. Mouthfeel: Light-bodied. Medium-low carbonation. Overall: Not so dark and not so dry, but itís still pretty tasty.

From a bottle poured a brown color with a small amount of head. Sweet cider flavor with a lingering finish.

Copper pour, short off-white head. Very powerful apple aroma. Flavor reminds me of when my mom used to just bake apples with brown sugar: quite sweet, loads of juicy apple, brown sugar/molasses qualities. Not really that dry, but very tasty.

22oz bomber, shared with the tallahassee crew, sweet almost candied aroma, taste is sweet, a hint of cinnamon, molasses, not much of a tartness. Very nice.

On tap at Big Time. Poured dark amber with a light brown head. Aroma was grapes, butter, and white wine. Very sweet with no bitterness, and a lively carbonated finish.
