fiulijn (14990) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - SEP 29, 2014
Draught at the brewpub in Everett
Blond color. Light fruit aroma, sweetish flavor, between apple and pear, a bit of stewed fruits, and a metallic touch in the final.
Easy but pleasant.

"meh. head to head with Ace, this falls waaay short. darker, but no lasting head. aroma and flavor are pleasant enough, but totally generic...to the point you have to work to tell it’s pear and not apple. a touch too much alcohol flavor as well, still refreshing though."

Draught in a flight at the brewpub. Pours a clear light yellow color. The nose had some pear to it, and was very effervescent, even hitting my nose as I smelled it; it was like champagne in that respect. Taste was slightly sweet, with very little pear to it. Again, it was very bubbly. Interesting.

8/23/13. 12oz bottle thanks to Homer321! Thanks, bro! Really light pear aroma, mostly sweet sugars and bubblegum all around, even a hint of booziness, which is weird. Sweet flavor with what seems like booziness but might just be a rubbing alcohol sensation. Not good. Not great. Bad.

bu11zeye (11972) - Frisco (Dallas), Texas, USA - AUG 13, 2013
(12oz bottle) Pours a clear pale yellow body with a spare white head. Aroma of pear, apple, and earth. Flavor of pear and earthiness.

Promises much; why can’t an American brewer do something like Okanagan Pear or even their apple... If you are adding flavours to a good cider base, then ADD it. This tastes like it might have near a pear for a few minutes...dreadful, really.

brokensail (11085) - Orange County, California, USA - JUN 24, 2013
Clear golden pour. Mild pear aroma, some sugar, and actually some apple. A weird feet note, too. Sweet flavor of sugar, pear, and apple. A bit soda-like, but not bad.

Bottle. Tart apple-pear aroma - like commercial apple juice. Clear medium gold with a ring of white bubbles. Sweet tart apple flavor with an odd chemical aftertaste. Light body, lively carbonation. Not really very pear-y, and more like a mass produced cider.
