Draught in a flight at the brewpub. Pours a clear copper color. Nose has some sweet apple notes to it with a lot of cinnamon in there. There’s also something else, I couldn’t quite place. Taste was sweet and apply, with something else. I thought it was a vegetable note (cucumber, maybe?), and my wife thought it was mold. Regardless of what it was, it wasn’t good.

Light amber color, completely clear with no head. Aroma of HUGE cinnamon and crisp gaila apples. Flavor is even more cinnamon and some clove. Really very good on a cold night...I wonder if I could enjoy this warm as well? Tempting...

Very spicy. There’s some flavor here I’m not very fond of. Possibly clove? Not my cup of cider.

Draft. Clear pale amber color, white edge head. Aroma of fresh apple flesh and skins, dusty lemon. Taste is fresh fruit with soft barbonation. Very nice.

FROTHINGSLOSH (4763) - GREENSBURG, Pennsylvania, USA - MAY 9, 2013
Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a bright golden color with a medium sized fizzy white head that faded and left no lacing. The aroma was apple, pear and was somewhat sweet. The flavor was very sweet sugar, tart apples, pear, green apples and a touch of cider vinegar. Medium length tart green apple and pear finish. Medium body. Ok.

Fresh apple and bread aromas. Pours a nice gold with a quick vanishing foam top. Flavors of fresh apple and citrus. Moderatly sweet with a crisp apple finish. Overall, this is a well crafted cider with a classic hard cider taste.

bottle - very dark, esp for a cider. No head, though there is some carbonation. Aroma is of green apples and spices. Sweet and malty. Interesting. Overall, very drinkable.

7/08/2009: Spire Mountain Draft Pear Cider has a transparent, white wine appearance with lively carbonation. IT smells like prickly pear and is slightly tart. However, it tastes quite sweet with a light yeastiness detectable in the middle. Overall it has a good pear flavor and reminds me of a slightly less sweet, less carbonated, alcohol-included version of Knudsen Sparkling Pear Juice. This pear cider is sticky, but goes down easily and isn’t over carbonated. I quite enjoyed my first perry encounter! 22 Fl. Oz. bottle (Harvested on JUL; 5% alc./vol.) as a trade bonus from bitbucket. Thanks Bob! Rating #7 for this perry.
