Very tasty, not necessarily for special occasions.

On tap at a temporary Biergarten during Regensbur Bürgerfest. More liberally hopped than the Helles, at least I think so. LAyer upon layer of herbal hops. Clear gold. Nice.

500ml bottle. Clear golden colour with small, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Sweet-ish malty, grainy aroma, a bready touch. Taste is moderately sweet pale malty, slightly bready, dry strawy overtones; slightly sticky palate. Too sweet.

(Draught at HahnZelt, Regensburger Dult, 20130514) The beer poured golden and clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had grass and malts. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were grass, malts, grain, sweetness and bitterness. Aftertaste was grainy and bitter. A decent beer

Bottle. Sweet citrusy barley malt and light grassy hops aroma. Clear golden yellow color with large white head - nice lacing and moderate effervescence. Very sweet malt and bitter weedy flavor. Mediocre.

(bottle, also known as Spital Dultbier) Clear, pale golden colour with a short, but stable foamy white head. Moderately sweet and soft malt, slightly grainy nose with an aromatic citrousy fruitiness. Light bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a crispy, almost fizzy carbonation. Malty and fruity (citrus) taste; slightly sweet malty and slightly chalky finish with a faint bitterness. Plain but clean and drinkable.

Bottle (bought at the brewery): Golden, mid-sized head with a good lace, metallic nose with a faint tinge of bisquits; light to moderate bitter-sweet flavour, light bodied; delicate sweet-bitter finish with the faintest illusion of hops in the aftertaste. Not really bad, but rather flat.....
