4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Taster from a bottle shared at Natifest 2013. Dark brown color, thin lighter brown head. Some loose bits of lace. Alright, this is clearly a black IPA, no question. Smooth, soft, lighter carbonation. dry finish. Bigger bitter taste, pretty much no sweetness. Awesome dark roast, some coffee. Big roast. Big earthy piney hop. Very assertive, big hop profile, lightly spicy hop, citrus. Definite black IPA, and one of the best ones Iíve ever had. Freakiní awesome.

Like a black ipa but smoother. Subtle yet complex. My first by this brewery but a good first impression.
