3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
22 ounce from Binny’s River North. Malty and sticky on tongue. Galaxy, I get. Ambush of Simcoe, I don’t get. Some citrus. Decent, but doesn’t stand out.

3.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
It has a deep woody, cloudy color. It smells a little bit like alcohol. Has all the flavors you would expect from an IPA. The hoppy bitter, cirtusy flavor with an added malty creaminess. It doesn’t have that long lingering aftertaste that some IPA carry. All in all not too bad. I have very high expectations for this brand new brewery out of the good ole Chicago, IL... Nice work boys.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Had it out of a 22oz bomber, poured a hazy orange hue with a thin creamy head and light lacing and bitter hop malt aroma. It taste great with a bitter hop flavor.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Murkish pour. Smell is sweet caramel candy, dank, and a bit pof herbal. Flavor is nice, it has torpical fruits, herbs, dankiness, sticky malts, hint of specialty malt.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
Batch 28 bottle served in a Sierra Nevada Spigleau IPA glass. Light honey colored pour with tangerine hues. Rocky two finger white head that is pretty dense; laces well. Fruit bouquet nose: candied papaya, mandarin orange, cinnamon oil, and fresh cut tropical fruits. Taste is very similar except the cinnamon oil is replaced with peach flesh. Much more tropical than citrus and the finish is bitter resin and fresh tropical fruits. Paradoxically the juiciness of the hops make you salivate but the hop oils leave the back of your tongue slightly dry on the finish. The malt is definitely in the distance on this one, but flavorful enough and in suitable quantity for the style.

A fucking awesome ipa. This brewery really has their beer making down. Really hoppy and bitter. Really refreshing.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
22 oz. bottle. Pours a deep orange color with a thick, off-white head. Aroma of floral and citrus hops. Strong orange peel and grapefruit notes. Flavor is rich and bitter, strong citrus and resin hop notes, touches of spruce and pine. Nice, full bodied, coating carbonation. Finishes long and bitter. This is a nice ipa.

Bomber at Jerry’s. Murky orange-amber with modest, creamy, off-white head, light legs / Bright, malty nose of pine, caramel, orange, grapefruit, weed / Full body, chewy, sweet, malty & fruity, big hop bite, bitter finish / Muddy flavors of pine, caramel, orange, grapefruit / Run of the mill, with a body more appropriate for a double ipa.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bomber. Murky orangey-brown, pours with a medium white head, not much retention but okay lacing. Nose is basementy dank, some pissy wet cardboard (which seems to be all the rage these days in IPAs I’ve drank recently), some underlying maltiness and orange in there as well. Mouth is medium bodied, tropical fruity (pineapple and guava heavy), citrus and pine, malt in the background, but fairly well-balanced. Very drinkable.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
UPDATED: MAY 23, 2013 Draft pour on tap at Beer Under Glass 2013 (Chicago, IL). Pours a nice orange amber hue, good haze, good darker orange glow atop with a frothy tannish head atop, dies to a ring and laces ok. Aromas are citrusy, grapefruit meets lemons, some tropical fruit sweetness. Bready and pale malts, a touch of sweetness. Gentle florals grow, firm hop presence. Initial is fuzzy, medium bodied with good bitter rind, soap, and grapefruit. Touches of florals, grass. Good grapefruit, lemon, and firm bitterness into the backend and finish. Grapefruit, florals, and firm rind. Touches of sweetness. More bitter earthy florals finish this up. Good touches of tropical fruit, bready malts, and soap. Overall, some good fruity elements preach well in this one, a tasty and flavorful hop profile with good frui presencet, fresh with a lot of oranges. Tasty stuff.
