651mL shared at Congregation Azusa. Pours a clear, deep black with brown highlights. Nose is hoppy, vanilla, tar, smoke, bacon. Taste is sweeter, bitter chocolate balance in the back, dairy milk chocolate, chocolate shake. Slick, dairy mouthfeel. Really solid for style.

Once again spiteful makes another great beer. Really chocolately with a burnt coffee finish. Smells super chocolately and pours dark brown almost black.

From a bomber. It's okay. But not dazzling. I guess sometimes with a milk stout I'm not quite sure what I want from it. But I had a Three Floyd's Moloko also, and preferred it. That doesn't make this bad. Just not one that I'll go out of my way for.
But I do look forward to trying other offerings from this brewery.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
22oz bottle, shared by beerpig317. Pours a black color, with a nice thin brown head. Good spread of dotty lace. Nice milk and dark chocolate aroma. Hint of coffee, light roast, cocoa nibs. Hint of molasses. Medium to bigger body. Good, thicker, more chewy texture. Lightly dry finish. Lighter, smooth carbonation. Moderate sweet taste, light bitter. Light hint of the alcohol. I’m not normally a fan of the style, but this is a very solid milk stout.

4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bomber bottle and served in snifter: pours a deep brown with a fading tan head, spotty lace. Big mocha and coffee aroma, toasty and roasty, nutty with a hint of plum and leather, tobacco and herbal hops too. The taste is just what I expect from the genre, sweet chocolate, moderate coffee and roast, faint hop bitterness and overall earthiness. The mouth feel is moderately bodied, oily and slightly sticky. This is among the better offerings from Spiteful, well done sirs.
