Don’t fight it, Spite It! So this is what we heard... Mrs. O’Leary was excessively milking her cow, because she owed money all over town. One day she tugged too hard and the cow had enough! With one spiteful kick, the lantern exploded and flames engulfed the city. The cow watched with a smirk as the Great Chicago Fire burned the city to the ground, because she knew full whom the Chicagoans would blame. That’s our story and we’re sticking to it!

Pours a deep black. The smell is very nice, roasted nuts and chocolate. The taste is pleasantly sweet with clear chocolate notes. There are no really big flavors; just well balanced ones. The mouthfeel is silky, probably my favorite part of the beer. Very nice overall.

Thanks cards04 for the sample. A pretty nice milks stout. Has the nice dry powder cocoa taste typical of the style. without being too sweet or artificial. Nice beer.

Purchased at Binny’s Lakeview in Chicago, IL; enjoyed in Milwaukee, WI while recording a project three years in the making. This stuff was fantastic. Really nice mouthfeel, nice balance of chocolate and lactose, chocolate flavor was dry and dark, great brew to split with friends. Will hopefully have this again.

Pours thick and dark black with dark creamy cocoa cinnamon head. The aroma brings quite a bit of coffee and some dark chocolate brownie. The flavor brings bitter chocolate and coffee grinds with some sweet chocolatey under tones. Ends a bit too early and dull, but pretty delicious overall.

not as good as Terrapin’s MooHoo, still got a decent chocolate milk flavor from it all the same.

22 oz. bottle. Pours a dark brownish near black with a medium beige head. Aroma of chocolate, lactose sugar, mild roast and dark malts. Flavor is quite sweet with mild roast bitterness. Lots of chocolate, Hershey’s syrup, and lactose notes. Medium bodied, lively carbonation. Finishes on a long chocolate note. This is one of those sweet stouts that dessert lovers should seek out.
