Cask at The Market Porter. Hazy copper red with a small froth. Sharp fruity aroma followed by complex, yellow apples flavours. Some spicy caramel as well. Enjoyable.

Cask handpump at The Wellington, Birmingham. Amber with a short head. Slightly caramel scent. Very malty, very sweet with a metallic (almost vinegary) bitter kick. (And I saw the cask being put on, so it wasn’t off!)

Cask (gravity filled jug) @ Smithfield Hotel & Bar, Manchester M4, UK. Clear medium amber color with a small, virtually none appearance, virtually none lacing, fully diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is light to moderate malty, roasted, caramel, dust. Flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter with a average to long duration. Body is light to medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is flat. (190108)

A Sim rate (Smithfield Hotel BF): Nice aroma of pecan, vanilla and cake. Golden colour. Very vanilla flavour. It’s like cake, sweet but maltily so.
