Clear coloured body with a very thin white head. Aroma of rice, malt, metal and light lemons. Light-bodied; Very mild malt and rice flavour with some light sugar and lemon sweetness noticeable. Aftertaste clean, but only a bit of malt shows through with nothing else. Overall, a pretty substandard beer, but this was expected. Definitely good to try in Italy, even though it was pretty bad. I sampled this 66 cL bottle purchased at a small grocery store in Milan, Italy on 11-November-2009 for €1,20 sampled later in the day in Milan.

Pale golden colour. Aroma of hops with hints of grain. Taste very watery with light bitter finish.

Bottle brought from Italy... I don’t know why. Typical ’lager’ look with a decent white head. Aroma is skunky little malty. Little aroma overall.. Flavour is ok, not too bad, little sweetness and has a well carbonated, yet watery mouthfeel. Nothing to write home about, or to take home...

Süß-getreidiger Antrunk, sehr flasch, unglaublich mild, säuerlich, einfach plörrig! Unangenehm billig wirkender und dünn hopfig-getreidiger Abgang.
Da ist der Name Splügen passend, denn er klingt stark nach Spülwasser.

Can at home in London with Lyoli. Pours clear, bubbly gold with a fading white head. Crispy cereal malts on the nose with light straw. Sweet flavor, biscuity malts, light grain, hay. Light bodied with lively carbonation. Sweet finish, white sugar, cereal malts, faint bitterness. Very drinkable stuff.

Bottle looks very simple, beer in the glass not very zippy, small head. Starts very mild, a bit dry-floury, modest dry. Finish washy, drinkable, but a bit boring.
