pepperford (108), robbinsdale, Minnesota, USA Sep 7, 2008 Slightly dark, with a head that ends quickly. Very sweet, thick mouth feel, slightly soapy, with a lingering sweetness and spiciness. a bit heavy handed. Radek Kliber (3332), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Sep 6, 2008 Bottle 355 ml
Appearance: Murky amber with light greenish tint , little fizzy cover on top. Nose: Sweet caramel fruity wheat like aroma with light soft yeasty hints. Mid dry alcohol well paired with rest. Flavor/Palate : Medium bodied , fuller richer front with watery like finish. Strong frontal flavors , slightly medicinal , yeasty , phenols with fruit peach like touch. Finish of white pepper that feels a bit off. Mid burn of alcohol at end.
Magjayran (1157), Durham, North Carolina, USA Aug 11, 2008 Golden colored ale with a small yet dense white head. Pineapple and banana in the aroma. Yeasty taste, very thick. Some tropical fruit. A little thick and syrupy. Ok stuff. Slipstream (392), USA Aug 11, 2008 Updated: Aug 19, 2008Dull bronze pour with a little pond scum on the surface. Plain black label with gold lettering, and gold wax on the bottleneck. The aroma is pungent and floral, with touches of honey, grass, cookies, and alcohol. The flavor is full, malty, and sweet. The Belgian yeast taste is prominent, along with raisin, apricot, hops, and a little tar. There is an interesting alcohol warmth that comes in during the finish, followed by esters and a light tingle. This is a good brew, but there is a drawback - it is a little syrupy. phishpond417 (1459), Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA Jul 20, 2008 This beer pours a deep orange colour. Cloudy, head is sweet and full, well carbonated. Lively fizzy mouthfeel, creamy and of course wheaty. Coriander, orange peel and a little bananna. Spice is soft but definately evident.
