3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 AWISLguy (689) - Wisconsin, USA - JAN 12, 2013Bomber from Ray’s in Tosa. Pours a coppery orange with a foamy white head leaving nice lacing. Aroma has dank malts and faint fruit. Taste is of bitter citrus, pale malts, some sugar and some earthiness. Thick and rough. Finishes dank and bitter with some sweetness. There is some simcoe, but not getting any citra - should’ve done an additional dry hopping - and not significantly different than their iipa.
3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20 beerbaaron (416) - Wisconsin, USA - JUN 14, 2013
Dark orange. Small wispy white head, lasting with lace. Aroma is lots of caramel, lots of citrus, some pine, some alcohol, fairly sweet. Medium body. moderate to high bitterness, resin, and some sweetness. Definitely different compared to other 2IPA but the palate grew on me a little over the course of the bottle. Kinda goofy.
2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20 MarinEvelyn (157) - Wisconsin, USA - JUN 14, 2013
Caramel, dry hops, grapefruit/citurs. Sweet yet bitter, and a little harsh.
A little sweet, very hoppy, grapefruit, dry, bitter. Strong hoppy and bitter finish.

Bomber poured a hazy amber with a lingering ring of amber foam. Aromas of grapefruit, orange zest, pine, carmel and light tangerine. Palate was medium bodied and crisp with a smooth dry finish. Flavors of carmel, earthiness, grapefruit, orange zest and a hint of pine with a smooth dry lingering bitter grapefruit finish.

Yeah the nose on the hops is for real. Sweet orange zest, earthy, zippy hops. The lacing is sticky and the head is pronounced. The taste finishes malty and not too dry. On the palate it’s a little dry after the beer has left the palate. Overall this is a pretty nice beer. I will pick up again. Drank this one from the bottle.
2.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 stumpyiliz (174) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - MAR 6, 2013
Orange pour into pint glass. Nice light beige head. Dissipating head revealed huge lemon citrus of course. Initial sip is tart and foamy. Lemony citrus overwhelms the palate. A sipper for sure. I had to share this to finish it.
3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Beaver (1077) - Fort Collins, Colorado, USA - MAR 3, 2013
22 oz bottle. Pours slightly hazy copper orange with a small white head that quickly goes to a thin film that leaves some lacing.
The aroma is sweet bready caramel malts and peppery minty hops.
The flavor is sweet bready malts with some tropical fruits and minty peppery hops. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with low prickly carbonation.
Overall, an OK but not too exciting DIPA.
4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 StouterRick (32) - Omaha, Nebraska, USA - MAR 3, 2013
I had this on tap at the Tap House. I was blasted with an up front orange and tropical fruit bouquet that was matched in intensity by the taste. There is enough of a malt background to really hold this beer together. This is a very tasty beer.

Not much going on. Sweet tropical citrus fruits over cardboard-y lager smell. Taste is decently bitter, refreshing, slightly sweet from the hops. Eh.
2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 Ernest (5646) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - MAR 1, 2013
Bottle.
Head is initially small, frothy, off-white, mostly diminishing.
Body is medium amber.
Aroma is lightly to moderately malty (caramel), moderately hoppy (apricot, resin), with notes of soured fruit (kumquat, etc.), butter, scented soap, cotton candy, celery.
Flavor is moderately to heavily sweet, lightly to moderately acidic, lightly bitter.
Finish is lightly to moderately sweet, lightly to moderately acidic, moderately bitter, slightly unclean.
Medium to full body, watery/syrupy texture, lively/soft carbonation, moderately alcoholic.
Pretty typical Sprecher-quality beer...clunky, jumbled, aimless, off-notes, homebrew-ish.
2.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20 twindadplus2 (558) - Wisconsin, USA - FEB 20, 2013
Hazy coppery red color with a small, tight beige head. Dry pine aroma with a hint of hay and cereal malt. Something in the initial taste just doesn’t sit right, almost a cardboard, vegetal flavor. It settles down into the pine and citrus hops and a malty finish but that first taste just ruins the flavor profile. It’s a pity because that’s really the only flaw in this beer.
