Commercial Description:
This coarse filtered wheat ale is fermented with a German yeast culture for a refreshingly light spiciness and hints of citrus fruit. A cloudy appearance and an immense creamy head are characteristic of this lightly hopped Bavarian brew.

Hazy yellow color with thin white head. Sweet malt and wheat aroma. I also smell some banana. Very nice Hefe Weiss flavor. Perfect for a hot day like today. Mild sweetness plays against grain flavors. Refreshing sour lemon and hop bitterness bits along the edge of my tongue. Solid beer for the style.

Slightly sour yeasty aroma. Pale, cloudy gold. A little more citrus note than a classic German Hefe. Has the yeasty taste with a little banana. I enjoyed the beer. Found it very drinkable.

New in town. Aroma is yeasty, bready and holds mild bannana notes. Body is a cloudy pale yellow and holds a slowly diminishing, two finger thick, white head. Fore is creamy on the palate and possesses yeasty notes, sweet bannana bread some very mild clove notes and a sweeter bannana cream and bubblegum finish. Not a bad Hefe at all though the overall flavor of it isn’t exactly traditional as a whole...the basic flavors are there.

500 ml bottle. Hazy yellow with a really nice head. Aromas were mostly banana. Clove came in strong on the flavor. It was all there. I didin’t think it was bad at all. Maybe a little underrated IMHO.

Thanks to hopdog for the trade. Pours a milky golden orange with a small bubbly white head. Aroma of clove, wheat, yeast and citrus. Flavor of banana, wheat, bubblegum, yeast, slight roast, citrus. Refreshing yet and very nice mouthfeel.

Pale yellow with minimal head, no haze to speak of. Flavor is soft with mild carbonation. Bread, bananas, and a hint of grain at the forefront. Mild generic citrus spice at the back. Nothing about this beer makes me think of it as bad, but it comes across as somewhat vanilla. It needs more ooomph and charachter. Sprecher, I know you can do better.

Not much aroma. Cloudy appearance is spot on but the head is off. Ciderish. The taste is not very wheaty or yeasty, but it’s not very interesting either. Just a boring beer.

16oz bottle, no date. Pours a cloudy light golden with a small, fizzy white head. Aroma of ciitrus, and a little banana and yeast. Taste is very sour and acidic and yeast, banana comes in at the finish. Medium bodied, high carbonation. Meh, I expected more than what I got from the Sprecher folks.
