Commercial Description:
This coarse filtered wheat ale is fermented with a German yeast culture for a refreshingly light spiciness and hints of citrus fruit. A cloudy appearance and an immense creamy head are characteristic of this lightly hopped Bavarian brew.

16 oz bottle, via trade with 1FastSTi. Pours a very murky iced tea color, thin head that vanished quickly. This doesn’t look appetizing. Wheat dominated arome, some banana and bubblegum and lots of yeast. Flavor is slightly acidic. It actually has a murky taste foretold by the murky appearance. Very fizzy mouthfeel and medium bodied. Overall, kind of a train wreck of a beer. None of the crisp refreshing qualities that should be inherent in a Hefe.

Aroma of wheat and noticiable yeast. Cloudy Yellow body with decent white head. Good carbination also. Flavor has spice and bitter sour citrus at start. Bitterness subides and good light sour lemon flavor till finish. Lemon on the palate. Good brew.

16 oz. bottle poured a cloudy yellow with a small white head. Aromas of citrus, bananas and light spice. Palate was light bodied, even a litte light for the style. Flavors of bubblegum, citrus, a bit of banana and a hint of clove with a sweet finish.

Pours a bright honey color with a small but thick head. Smell is of banana and clove with just a hint of spice as well. The taste is a bit different though as there really isnt any sweetness in this beer and it is more spicey than most hefes. None of the flavors are very strong though and the mouthfeel is a little thin compared to better hefes. A nice sweet finish does help this beer though This is decent, but not great.

Light head with slight lacing. Smells of banana and a little bubble gum. Light and citrus on the palate with not alot of mouthfeel as you get in a higher quality weiss beer. Finishes crisp with a light lemony aftertaste. Disappointed with the lack of sediment at the bottom of my glass which tells me they over-filtered on this style. Doing this stripped out too much of the body inherent to what a weiss should be.

Poured a medium and cloudy yellow color with a huge white head. Aromas of bananas, wheat, yeast and very light spices. Tastes of bananas, bubblegum, and some citrus. Smooth and creamy body. One of the better German Hefe beers I’ve had today.

Dirty gold with a small, white bubbled head. Aroma mostly bubblegum with some banana. Taste is slightly sour with a nasty ass yeast flavor. Just bad beer.

Pours a cloudy straw yellow with a big fizzy head that dissipates fairly quick. Aroma is wheat and a bit of cloves. Flavor is mostly wheat with a bit of cloves and cinnamon. A bit of citrus hops round it out. Nice carbonation but the palate is a bit thin and frankly it just comes across as a bit watery. Certainly worth drinking, I just don’t think I’d seek it out again.
