Commercial Description:
This coarse filtered wheat ale is fermented with a German yeast culture for a refreshingly light spiciness and hints of citrus fruit. A cloudy appearance and an immense creamy head are characteristic of this lightly hopped Bavarian brew.

Sampled on tap at Sprecherfest! Pours to a very hazy straw colored body with a thin white head. The flavor is wheat, banana, clove, light spice and vanilla. The aroma is a light wheat and clove and lemon. The palate is so-so and sweet.

16oz bottle - Pours dirty blonde with a short offwhite head. Aroma of sweat socks and a little clove and a touch of bannana. Flavor is cloves, light bannana, a touch of vanilla. On the palate this is light bodied a touch watery and leaves a funky bannana vanilla aftertaste that I wasn’t really fond of.

Hazy dark golden yellow with no head. Aroma and flavor have plenty of spice, but there is almost no fruit to this whatsoever. Body a little thin. Just lacks in categories overall.

on tap at summerfest. Nothing overly special. Pours a light brown color w/ a small light colored head. Smelled of bannanas and maybe nutmeg a light malt too. Palate is pretty middle of the road some carbonation ok coating not much creaminess. Flavor was not bad but not great. Very light malt decent citrus hop some clove and cinamon and bannana. I probably wouldn’t bother w/ this again, but it’s ok if u haven’t tried it.

Pours a hazy yellowish color. Smells of clove, citrus, banana, and yeast. Taste mirrors the aroma but slightly spicier or peppery. Finish ends a bit thin.

Bottle: Malty banana and peppery clove aroma. Pours a dark cloudy yellowish-orange. Not much of a head. Real lemony and citrus flavors. Not much malt in the flavor. Almost all citrus up front with a pretty big clove presence in the finish with some light orange peel.

Pours a straw yellow color with a tall white head. This 16oz bottle almost didn’t fit in my wheat glass. The main aroma I picked up was an earthy bubblegum, not much else. The flavor was lightly sweet with some lemon along with the wheaty bubblegum. Quick, almost tart finish. Light to medium body with a water feel and very soft carbination, almost flat. Left a dry feel in my mouth.
