COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This coarse filtered wheat ale is fermented with a German yeast culture for a refreshingly light spiciness and hints of citrus fruit. A cloudy appearance and an immense creamy head are characteristic of this lightly hopped Bavarian brew.

The appearance on this is a cloudy yellow with a large white head. The aroma contains some bananas, lemons, and bready notes. The flavor contains more bananas, lemons, some biscuit going on. The palate is a bit thin. Overall a nice session beer at a not session beer price.

Hazy yellow color with thin white head that disappeared quickly. Sweet malt and wheat aroma with some banana and spices. Very nice Hefe Weiss flavor. Mild sweetness with a refreshing sour lemon and hop bitterness. Great out on the deck on a hot day.

On tap. Poured a hazy gold with a white head that dissipated quickly to the edges. Aroma was quite sweet with wheat and grain coming through with some underlying spice and citrus. Flavor had citrus and spice notes that balanced nicely with the sweet wheat and grain notes.

Hazy yellow unfiltered. Smells of very ripe banana, a bit of coconut. Palate is ripe banana. Not totally traditional, and I like traditional in this style. Where are the cloves? And I don’t like my bananas ripe.

This brewery tends to do fairly well with german styles, so I like to try their renditions when I get the opportunity - this one is decent - very creamy appearance and texture - on the lighter side for a hefe, so it is quite refreshing - semi-dry and herbal, with some dusty yeast character - only mild phenols in the form of banana and light clove - a wee bit of peppery character, especially on the tail end - lingering spicy, tangy finish - not terribly complex, but decent.

Pours a hazy dark golden yellow color with straw colored hues when held to a light source and a thin frothy white head that slowly fades into a thin lasting ring. Minimal lacing. Spicy aroma with hints of clove and coriander along with some crisp citrus fruit and ripe banana. Hints of grapefruit and lemon peel. The appearance and aroma were okay but the mouthfeel and flavor of this beer are seriously lacking. Slightly creamy mediu body that’s on the lighter end of the spectrum with a prominent spice character. The clove and coriander notes overpower what little citrus fruit flavor there is. Subtle hints of banana and lemon peel. Zesty dry finish.

Cloudy golden pour thin white head ... aroma of banana, wheat and belgian yeast .... light sweet fruity taste of orange and banana and wheat, very smooth belgian yeast and a light spicy finish ... nothing overbearing here just right if your not into too much banana like myself
