Commercial Description:
This coarse filtered wheat ale is fermented with a German yeast culture for a refreshingly light spiciness and hints of citrus fruit. A cloudy appearance and an immense creamy head are characteristic of this lightly hopped Bavarian brew.

Pours a hazy orangish yellow with a very little almost nonexistent white head. Aroma is very sharp citrus fruit. Kind of a strange screwdriver orange juice note. Flavor is very very sweet and some spiced bread taste comes through in the finish along with some tartness. Medium body and medium carbonation. Very sweet for a hefe, almost sugary, but the tartness and spiciness in the finish did help.

Pour is light golden with white fizzy head. Aroma is very floral with notes of citrus. Flavor is mainly wheat with some floral notes but not much. There isn’t a lot happening in this brew. Smooth and decent but nothing special. Won’t buy again.

Sprecher Hefe Weiss is a cloudy golden color with a nice, medium sized head. The beer has a soft sour wheat aroma and the taste has a bit of bananna. The finish is smooth and drinkable.

Light orange yellow pour. Very hazy - almost opaque with a thin white head. Lots of citrus and wheat on the nose. Some yeast tones. Nice wheaty flavor with lemon and citrus. Malty finish. Very easy to drink and tasty! I put a lemon in it and I could have drank this all day.

Pours a cloudy golden hue with a soft, white head which dissipates quickly. Smells of over ripened bananas. You can taste the spiciness (cloves) of this one all the way down- nice and crisp. Also, the the yeastiness really lingers in the back of the palate. Maybe a little too thin and carbonated for some, but I actually welcome that characteristic in this style. I can imagine drinkinq quite a few of these on a hot, sunny day; and with the low alcohol content, it could become quite recreational. Not dead on true to style, but quite good nonetheless.

This is my favorite style of beer. The taste and the appearance is awesome. My buddy and I like this better than the german hefs.
