May 30, 2007 Bottle. Green apple/banana peel and sour wheat malt aroma. Cloudy ligh orange-yellow with big head. Slightly sweet orange, banana and wheat malt flavors. LIght bodied for a Hefe. A well made Hefe.

May 25, 2007 Typical color & cloudiness. Had a nice large head... that disappeared in the blink of an eye... literally. Very decent flavor unhindered by the low alcohol content... banana comes out very strong instead of subtle like in other hefe’s. More of a dessert than a beer =p but is very smooth and drinkable. Sour aroma? Intriguing palate... low carbonation but definitly not flat, full bodied for a hefe.

May 19, 2007 Pours a cloudy yellow with a thin head. Tasted like wheat and lemon with some fizz and spice. Finished creamy and sweet .

Apr 10, 2007 Another one of Randy Sprecher’s oldest styles. I remember having this back in 1989 and tastes the same in 2007. What ever happend to Sprecher Milwaukee Pils? Pours a cloudy (and I mean cloudy) golden brew with a thick white head. Aromas of cloves, banana, walnut bread and some citrus. Taste. wheat, cloves, bubblegum and some multi-grain pancake. A very dry wheat finish. This brew is not only for a hot summer day, but all year round.

Mar 22, 2007 Pours a hazy medium golden color with a small head. Aroma is of grains, citrus, corn, and light malts. Flavor is quite sharp. Spice, malts, and citrus. Sort of has a Belgian flavor to it. This may be a German Hefe style but I am getting a big Belgian spice flavor to it and I am liking it.

Feb 7, 2007 Light hazy color. Smell of yeast, lemons, malt, spice, bananas, hot dogs, butterscotch and buttermilk. Taste of malt, hint of hops, lemons, ginger, wheat and a little caramel. Dry bitterness at the end.

Jan 31, 2007 bottle shared with dickinsonbeer, thanks alot. Hazy light orange in color, medium off white head. Aroma is banana, clove, some wheat, the usuals. Taste is about the same with a decent amount of bready yeast.. pretty well done hefe.
