Commercial Description:
This coarse filtered wheat ale is fermented with a German yeast culture for a refreshingly light spiciness and hints of citrus fruit. A cloudy appearance and an immense creamy head are characteristic of this lightly hopped Bavarian brew.

Dirty gold with a small, white bubbled head. Aroma mostly bubblegum with some banana. Taste is slightly sour with a nasty ass yeast flavor. Just bad beer.

Poured a medium white head that was quick dissolving with fine-small bubbles. No lacing with this brew. There was a lot of yeast observed. It had a cloudy yellow body. The aroma was that of clove. This was a watery and thin German Wheat brew and it lacked character.

Has a slight banana aroma; nice, pleasant cloudy light golden appearance with a light white head with a wee bit of lacing. A bit too much carbonation - found myself puckering my lips. Has a decent citrusy tart flavor - a hint of sweet spiciness rounds it out nicely. Overall a decent heffy.

16 oz bottle. Poured a cloudy yellow color. Head was white with decent retention. Aroma was of yeasty bread dough with banana, caramel, and bubblegum. Delicately sweet on the tongue with bubblegum, malty cereal grain, banana, and yeasty bread dough flavors. Not a bad hefe, but not as much banana or clove as I had expected.

Bottle. Hazy golden beer with a nice white head. Sweet wheat aroma. Fruity (summer/citrus) and wheat flavor. Refreshing, easy to drink.

Aroma of wheat and citrus. Cloudy with lots of carbonation. Citrus flavors, and a pleasant mild wheat taste. Not as much spice and fruit aroma/flavor as I would like. Light on the palate and refreshing. Inexpensive for the style; enjoyable.

Bottle pours cloudy pale yellow, small foamy white head, strong carbonation, with spotty lacing.   Yeasty/bready aroma with hints of banana and clove.   Bready flavor, fairly light tho, with some slight clove & over-ripened banana.   Medium body, good mouthfeel.   Finishes clean, crisp, slightly sweet, with light spices.   Probably one of the better American made German Hefeweizens I have had.   Thanks goes out to heemer77 for the trade!
