This coarse filtered wheat ale is fermented with a German yeast culture for a refreshingly light spiciness and hints of citrus fruit. A cloudy appearance and an immense creamy head are characteristic of this lightly hopped Bavarian brew.

A slightly cloudy yellow body with a nice white head that had nice retention and good lacing. A strong spice note on the aroma and although aroma was pretty strong there was an off-putting aroma to it. Somewhat dirty! Flavor had some nice citrus notes to it, but they did seem to overshadow the wheat notes. A nice mouth feel, but I could not get over the aroma.

16 oz. bottle from Jungle Jim’s International Market, Fairfield, OH. Hazy, straw-colored pour with a short white head. Aroma of very ripe banana and light citrus peel. Taste masks most of the citrus and showcases banana and bubblegum with hints of clove and ginger. Mild bitterness of the finish. A good hefeweizen.

Draft. Cloudy honey color with off-white head and substantial lacing. Wheat, coriander, and honey aroma. Wheat and coriander up front with cornflakes in the finish. Notable absence of citrus. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Had this on tap at Germanfest in Milwaukee. Excellent! Banana an clove are balanced perfectly. It has a very refreshing lemon/citrus flavor. What a great beer to drink down by the lakefront.

Seems like more of a Witbier than a Hefe to me. Coriander spice is much stronger than the citrus notes. Overall it’s OK.
