3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
OK, this one took a bit to figure out. On tap at Cask Cafe as WIPL (Wisconsin Pale Lager), although it was called by our waiter as Wisconsin India Pale Lager. At the end, I think this is the same thing as what is described here. Although it was awfully light in color for a "Viennna." Clear. In any case, crackery malt, big citrus hop aroma. The "India" reference from the waiter was on target. Flavor matched. Clean on the finish. Nice mesh of styles here, worked well.

Amber gold pour small white head. Avg palate flavor of old stale beer... Some hops... Not good.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
A golden amber color with a nice white head. A smooth hop taste and a crisp finish. Not too bitter for being called hopfuzion.

2.1 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
This smells and tastes like a failed attempt at an IPA. There is no balance, just a mish-mash of flavors and aromas. The malt is the biggest culprit. I briefly considered storing it for cooking purposes, but decided to pour it down the drain instead.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bomber poured a clear tarnished gold with a small lasting off white head. Aromas of biscuit, earthiness and grapefruit. Palate was light bodied and crisp with a dry finish. Flavors of biscuit, citrus, watermelon and light earthiness with a crisp dry bitter lingering citrus finish.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Aroma is caramel malts and light citrus. The flavor is caramel malts, citrus, notes of tea, oily palate and a tangy finish. Interesting beer style, could have been better though.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Tap sample at Sugar Maple. Fresh and Sprecher are complete anathema. Filtered orange-tan with a respectable white head. Earthy hop tones meets Sprecher butter. Not horrendous, the hops fight to make it OK. At the end of the battle the hops fail, and the cheap off flavors win. Earthy, clean enough, but kind of gross too.

2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Bomber as "Hopfuzion". Poured clear, lighter orangey-golden with a short cap of eggshell head. The aroma picked up some dank citrusy hops over some very strange, unpleasant cheese-like notes.. light toasted bready malts in there too.. honey supported as it warmed up.. didn’t smell like anything I wanted to drink. The flavor found mostly honey with lesser watery bready malts at the core.. fresh grass and pine bitterness plus detergent and cheesy notes laced throughout.. long finish with an unpleasant taste. Light-medium bodied and tacky on the palate.. I’m going to avoid drinking this again.

1.4 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 3/20
UPDATED: JUL 30, 2014 Something a bit off/unique about it. Vegetal and or something else really unpleasant. Dark amber, good carbonation. Disappointing. Little hop, little flavor. Did not enjoy this. Gave it a second chance and it was the same bad experience.

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
On draft at Sprecher’s in Lake Geneva. Pours a clear light amber color with a thin white head. Aroma is very faint, but is a light pine hop smell. Medium on the palate with average carbonation. Flavor is lightly bitter, grassy, pine hops, some cereal malt, with a light bitter finish. A bit underwhelming.
