Got Stout? (173), Wisconsin, USA Mar 29, 2005 Updated: Apr 14, 2005 I figured that since they put four bottles in the pack, it’s expected that you consume them in short order. I did that with great pleasure and inebriation. The lightly burnt chocolate aroma follows directly into the drink, but thinner than one might expect. It has a self-described dry finish, but is decidedly acidic after warming. The drink is carried through to a rather thick, sweet after-swallow, but if it gets annoying another drink will be soon to follow. As I am a daily Blatz drinker, it is a nice affordable change...!
shigadeyo (1399), Southwest Ohio Area, Ohio, USA Sep 22, 2008
9/22/2008: Sprecher Irish Style Stout pours out in a dark chocolate-colored steam and is opaque in the glass and has an average-sized tan head. The aroma is both sweet and robust as notes of rich chocolate are followed by roasted malt and cocoa powder. The flavor is similar with dry, roasted maltiness, caramelized sugar, semi-sweet and dark chocolates, and hints of coffee and cream in the finish. This beer has a medium to medium-full body and a good, creamy mouthfeel. Overall this is a good, robust strout that does a good job of illustrating the dry, Irish style. Tasty!

16 fl. oz. bottle (5.7% alcohol by volume, 32602FL 0806011225) from Tmoney99. Thanks Tom! Rating #98 for this beer...
cking (731), North Canton, Ohio, USA Jul 28, 2008 About 4 months since St. Patty’s day and this beer just showed up on the local shelves. Seemed to still be in nice form, a hearty drinkable stout to say the least. Dark chestnut/brown pour with a lasting 1/2" head and mild lacing. Plenty of roasted malt and coffee aromas to keep my happy. Medium bodied stout that is smooth and drinkable. Creamy on the palate. Nuts, coffee and roasted malt flavors. Bitter chocolate finish with a buttery aftertaste. Minor hop presence, well balanced for a stout. Good brew. phishpond417 (1459), Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA Jul 20, 2008 Colour is dark chocolate almost black, head is medium sized tan colour. Aroma is of lightly roasted coffee, and possibly a little scotch. Taste is incredible, coffee, toffee and hint of smoke. Awesome beer! Tmoney99 (3636), Cincinnati, Ohio, USA Jul 6, 2008 Bomber bottle from Belmont Party. Pours black color with a large frothy brown head that mostly lasted with fair lacing. Medium roasted sweet malty aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture. Medium chocolate bittersweet flavor with a medium bittersweet finish of moderate duration. My expectations where met with a good smooth beer that was good with a grill dinner.
Lowe1983 (745), Fairborn, Ohio, USA Jun 29, 2008 Pours a dark brown color with a tan head. Aroma is light with some chocolate, roasted malts, coffee, smoke, and a little hop character. Flavor is bitter at first with roasted malts and coffee. That gives way to the chocolate and molasses. Dry, slightly bitter finish. Decent but not great.
