3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20 Lemke10 (538) - Janesville, Wisconsin, USA - JAN 24, 2013
Pours a dark red color that leaves a red rose color head. Scent is rather strong of cherry as it says on the bottle it is brewed with Door County cherry juice. It has a little heavier texture than a normal lambic but the taste isn’t as tart as most lambics. It perhaps drinks a little to fast and much like some alcoholic cherry juice. A nice sweet fruit beer from Sprecher as part of their 25th Anniversary series. Something nice to try but there are better Lambics on the market.

3.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Nuffield (3347) - Roseville, Minnesota, USA - DEC 24, 2012
Opaque red, reasonably attractive. This had the nose, which was cherry in essence but also suggested some wood and plenty funkiness, but the flavor wasn’t there--either in the depth and complexity of the cherry or the funkiness, despite the moderately sour front. And, there was an off-putting metallic note suggested somewhere in the mid-finish. No competition for New Glarus just yet. Bottle.
3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 NobleSquirrel (3286) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - SEP 24, 2012
Bottle picked up at Woodman’s in Madison. Pours a pinkish red, on the paler side. Pink head. Nose is lightly tart and reminiscent of a drier Belgian Red. Soft cherry tartness and some wheat malt comes through. Clean and crisp. On tasting, light acidity that is reinforced by the cherries. Tart through the finish with great cherry flavor. Pretty nice stuff here. Good change of pace from Belgian Red.
3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 burg326 (2325) - Florida, USA - JUL 22, 2012
12 ounce bottle pours a light red, almost a pink color, aromas of watered down barnyard funk, light tart cherries, and some light damp wood. Flavors follow suit, not overly tart, light mouthfeel, decent beer overall.
3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20 kmweaver (3142) - Santa Rosa, California, USA - JUN 18, 2012
12oz bottle, courtesy of a recent trade. Thanks!! Pours a bright, pinkish-peach color; huge, foamy, fine-bubbled white head with excellent retention and lacing. Vibrant cherry notes in the aroma; lightly funky and tart, with plenty of lactic tartness; quite nice. Medium body: soft brettiness and lacing sourness; really solid fruit character; certainly on the softer, fruitier side, but focused and refreshing.

lactic sour aromas, black cherry, almond, clove, brett emerging as it warms, non capric -- mostly hay/farm, very dry. clean and wonderful. Truly impressive.

Bottle at WtWBA Brooklyn 2012. Pours a clear reddish body with a thin white head. Aroma is funk and cherry. Mouthfeel is thin to medium, lightly carbonated with notes of cherry, artificial flavoring, toast, grain. Ehh

Not too bad. The finish is a bit rough and there is a bit too much acidity in this one, but better than I was expecting.
