3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle - brusin ales - 25th anniversary edition - pours a clear orangey peach with a finger of pale pink head. Lots of tiny bubbles. Aroma is very barnyard, wet dog, hay, and a faint bit of cherry. Taste is sour and tart with a sour finish. Palate a bit thin and watery. Overall, average effort for a lambic.

3.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pours a hazy red color with a loose small head and good lace.
This smells pretty gosh darned nice. Some horseblanket and sour cherry are dominant, but wet wood some hay and a little used popsicle stick are in there as well.
The flavor is sour up front but that sourness falls off a bit, the flavor is earthy and a little odd all around. There is some astringency and some distilled white vinegar notes. The cherry for all is glory in the aroma is fairly subdued in the flavor.
The mouthfeel on this beer is fairly flat and thin.

2.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a red-amber color with a huge foamy salmon head that faded quickly and left no lacing. The aroma was faint cherry with a touch of must. The flavor was tart, sour and vinegary with a bit of cherry and must. The finish was long, tart, sour and vinegary. Light body. Disappointing.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Shared by Dstructo at Tower of Sour Power. Nice fruity tart aroma with slight hints of cherries. The flavor was tart but a little too sweet for me, but still a very good kriek.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
12 oz bottle. Pours a mostly clear bright pinkish red body with a one finger fizzy pink head that had nice retention due to the vigorous carbonation. The nose is pretty pleasant, not lambic like in any way, but pleasant. Fresh and bright sour cherries with just a light hint of caramel and woodiness. Smells like there is a bit of Brett character as well. The flavor is minimally sweet with just a light lactic touch and a little Brett on the finish. Again, not lambic like, but a nice American Sour Ale. Light bodied with a good bit of fizzy carbonation. A little sticky sweet up front but dried out pretty well towards the back. Overall, a good bit better than I was expecting.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle from Guerde. Pours light cherry red with a pinkish head. Light cherry aroma. Definitely earth/sour lambic impact, and there’s a light amount of cherry. Finishes a little woody and sour.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle shared by bhensonb. Pours pinkish orange with a huge pink head that quickly subsides, and a funky cherry aroma. There is a nice carbonated sour cherry flavor with a bitter finish. Does not have the depth of a traditional kriek, but is still pretty tasty.

7/16/11 sprecher cherry lambic $3.75 from bruisin’ ales. Screw cap lambic, huh?
Rose/sucrets colored with a big ow head. Hazy, wispy and rather attractive looking...kinda like cotton candy stuck to the inside of the glass.
A barnyard-y, slate, cherryjuice, leather, dusty cellar, light lemin peel, white pepper, rubber gloves/band-aid.
F quite tart but not sour, tastes like a male goat smells, very dry, not a lot of fruitiness or complexity, white pepper. Brett bomb. Phenolic/latex glove.
Dry, crisp, tart, high carbonation.

Good effort. Nice change of pace. Not at the top echelon of lambics. A bit too syrupy. But the cherry flavor isn’t over done. Not too sweet or tart. Pretty good.
