COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
SPRING - Pale malty flavors are balanced with a rich hop flavor and a light fruit bouquet in this tradtitional spring-time lager. Extended aging and traditional dry-hopping give this potent, blonde bock a distinctive flowery aroma.

Bottle: Light golden, moderate white forthy head, light lacing, minor carbonation.   Semi-sweet mose, light spices, rich maltiness.   Pale malts on the tongue, not as sweet as I thought and also it has a bit of twang towards the finish.   Body and mouthfeel are average.   Smelled fairly good, but came across as very average.   Finishes with a slight malty astringent twang.   Average.

Had on tap at the happy gnome. Not to bad, decent hop bite with a good amount of fruit without being to sweet. Certainlly prefer the Summit and Schell Maibock over this one, but still a decent rep. of the style.

joebrew (608) - Farewell Minny; Hello Puyallup, Washington, USA - MAR 5, 2007
Pours a firey red with a nice dirty white head. Nice banana, toffee, nose with hints of some other grainy malt sweetness and a hint of smoke. Nice light carbonated mouthfeel with a biscuity sweet flavor giving hints of toffee as well. A nice light floral hoppiness carries on through the finish. A suprisingly good beer.

16oz bottle. Poured a medium and slightly hazy amber color with a smaller sized off white head. Aromas of fruitiness, cookie dough, and I’m getting a light spiciness to it. Tastes of cookie dough, lightly fruity, and some caramel.
