COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
SPRING - Pale malty flavors are balanced with a rich hop flavor and a light fruit bouquet in this tradtitional spring-time lager. Extended aging and traditional dry-hopping give this potent, blonde bock a distinctive flowery aroma.

(Bottle, Stockholm Beer Festival, 30 Sep) Amber colour with disappearing off-white head. Malty, fruity nose with some malt sweetness and notes of figs and dates. Same goes for the taste: malty and fruity with figs and raisins. Initially sweet, turning into a drier finish with flowery hops. Well balanced and tasty.

Bottled. Orange/amber colour, small white head. Aroma is rye, white bread and sweetish hops. Slight buttery notes also. Flavour is rue, caramel, butter and malts. The finish is quite hayish. Smooth and drinkable.

[Bottled at Stockholm Beer Festival] Clear golden. Buttery malt aroma. Medium sweet with chewy, buttery malt character. Crisp with light grassty hoppiness and solid body. Thoroughly well made pale bock.

Kind of a light copper color with thin white head. Fairly light aroma of sweet malts and maybe a little hops. There is an assertive hop presence that outweighs the traditional Mai Bock sweet maltiness. Nice well rounded beer. Sweet malt lingers into the after taste.

gotta love these 16 oz. bottles from Sprecher! a well rounded bock with the color of honey and a decent off-white head. aroma was of the pale malt and flavors of mild sweetness, some honey, pepper and some floral hops. a hint of a strange sourness at the very end kept this from scoring a couple of tenths higher.

Bottle (500ml). Clear orange-amber with a decent white fizzy head. There’s some nice grainy malt in there, some light herbal hops, yeasty and slightly funky, almost woody. The alcohol’s in the taste, which is woody malt, soft grain and increasing orange zest bitterness in the medium-length finish. Decent body, astringent and nicely carbonated mouthfeel - very nice, I like the tang that blunts any hint of excessive sweetness here.
