COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This very light, refreshing fruity Ale has a golden color and rich malty complexity that only old-world brewing can produce. Slightly hopped for flavor itís a perfect beer for easy drinking.

Had this on draft at the sprecher brewpub in lake Geneva, IL. Light orange pour with sticky white head. Dank and skunked taste. Didn't like it at all

16oz, Sprecher bottle, twist-off. Golden color. Aroma of cardboard box, earthy honey, and pale grain. Tastes of straw, pale malts, and wet tanned leather. Finishes with a crisp, straw flavor of hops. Not the best of Sprecher Ales, still much better than most Macro-Lights. (3667)

Draft at Melt in Cleveland as "Melt City Lager" following the Cleveland Marathon. Seriously for the style not bad at all. Enough hops to make it crisp and enough malt to make the mouthfeel a little heavier. Fine.

Bottle from Sprecherís brewery gift shop in Glendale, WI. Pale gold/yellow pour with a medium white head that quickly dissipates. Aroma is grain and apple. Light palate with a fair amount of carbonation. Taste is pretty much just malt/grain, very little else. Not offensive, but not interesting. Worlds better than the macro pale lagers, but also worlds away from a high-quality brew.

Straw yellow with a large white head. Aroma of apple, sweet malt and grains. Taste of fruit, grains, caramel, apple, corn with a clean finish. Mild and okay for the style.

Smells pickly, the taste is light and lifeless, just like a macro light beer, they need to try harder.

Poured a light gold with a decent head that faded to modest lace. Aroma was of hay and malts - not great, but not terrible either. Taste starts off with malts and then transfers to beans, of all things, hay and mild hops. Mouthfeel is decent. Overall, I was a bit disappointed in this light from Sprecher. Youíre better off going for one of Sprecherís full-bodied brews.

Bottle. Light gold pour with a small white head. Nose of grainy malts. Flavor is lightly sweet with some faint fruit and malt notes. Minimal hop presence. Light bodied with average carbonation. Finishes a bit sweet and mildly crisp. Nothing special. Can there be a good light craft beer?

Pours pale yellow with thin head. Aroma of mild esters and light hopping. Virtually no malt character or flavor in general. Blah. Would rather have a domestic light lager instead.

Had on tap at the brewpub after a tour of the place. Better than your average American macro, I guess, but far from special.
