DougShoemaker (2855), Toronto, Canada Apr 29, 2008 Nose is caramel, malt, trace of brown sugar, clear ruby, small toffee head. Tastes of roasted, almost burnt almonds, also reminds me of the taste of roasted peanut skins, smoky, caramel, sponge toffee comes to mind. Medium bodied, very well balanced, extremely bitter. Quite distinctive! wxman (582), O’Fallon, Illinois, USA Apr 28, 2008 Pours a deep ruby color with a decent tan head that sticks around. Aroma is vinous and smokey.
