Small to medium sized white foamy head. Aroma is smoky, peaty and sweet, touch of brown sugar. A medium bodied Scotch ale. The malts are caramel and sweet. Touch of smoke and peat. The hops are earthy and floral. Nice beer. Good carbonation, nice balance. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly sweet. It pours a mostly transparent amber with some faint haziness and a small off-whit head. The flavor starts with caramel and fruit with a lightly smoked finish.
