COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Brewed in the northern style of an English ale. This light brown ale has a nice caramel and toasted malt flavor, combined with a fresh hoppy aroma that is slightly fruity. This is nicely complimented by a subtle bitterness that rounds out the palate.

Bottle wife brougt back from Wi. trip. Aroma has a wet grain to it but also some toast and nut. Light brown body when held to light more of an amber color. Good roasted and caramel nutty flavor. Thin body texture but smooth on the palate and enjoyable brew.

From a bottle from Woodman’s. Pours brown with good carbonation and some maltiness. Fair for a brown ale.

Smooth and refreshing. The nose is a slightly malty/hoppy aroma. The palate is of finely caramelized malt with perhaps a suspicion of oats on the back of the tongue. Definitely a good pub ale: refreshing enough to wash down a cheeseburger and fries; smooth enough to drink one after another.

(Bottle) Pours a brown color with a fizzy head. Sweet caramel in the aroma, followed by a roasted nut taste. Also a sharp burnt character later on in the taste. Decent mouthfeel. A mediocre Brown Ale...

Light brown color. Quite bland. Some malt grain taste, but not much hops taste. Thin body. Touch of sweetness.

A dark amber pour with a small off white head. Aroma is malty fruits, ash, and a little roastiness. Flavor is sort of bland. Not bad, but just bland. Tart malts, light hops, and a touch of nuttiness. Decent brew.
