COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Brewed in the northern style of an English ale. This light brown ale has a nice caramel and toasted malt flavor, combined with a fresh hoppy aroma that is slightly fruity. This is nicely complimented by a subtle bitterness that rounds out the palate.

Nice crystal clear copper color with thin white head. Light aroma of pale malts and some breadiness. The bottle stated “complex flavor” really does come out. I taste pale malts, sweet caramel malts, wheat, toffee, breadiness and a bit of hop bitterness. It all goes together nicely too. Very good for when you’re in the mood to consume mass quantities.

Just what you expect from this style-- front loaded with so much leathery, rich nut-like flavor. It fades away in a pleasant little tale -- this I think is why people call this one drinkable -- though I never found this quality missing in a great many beers. This is a sophisticated beer that has something to say. Now where is Glendale Wisconsin?

New in town! Toasty, caramel malt and nutty aromas. Body is a light amber-tinted brown and holds a quickly diminishing tan head that started a full two fingers thick. Fore is light on the palate and holds a fruity sweetness with caramel accents and a peanut skin dryness toward the finish. Fairly spot on English style brown ale. Not that I have had all that many English brown ales.

Copper-bodied with a mostly diminishing off-white head. Beef broth and mild caramel aroma. Mid-bodied with a sour, nutty-caramel flavor that finishes with a hint of bitterness and some vegetal notes.

Nailed the style again. Always feels good. A nutty malty brown ale aroma. The ale itself is also malty with some hops but doesn’t really taste much etiher way. Not real great.

16oz bottle, I can’t read the squished print to see when it was bottled. Aroma of nuts, vanilla, cereal grains, brown sugar, and some caramel. pours a deep mahogany with a small beige ring of head. Metallic, biscuity, nutty and tart in flavor. Slight bitterness in the finish. Smelled better than it tasted. Moderate carbonation, light bodied.

A nice well rounded beer ,for the casual social drinker that wants to hang out with his friends. Got a mild toasty around with a slight hint of maple syrup. Medium body. Nice malts and not too bitter.

The aroma is an odd array of cereal grains (including corn) and wet dog. There is also nuts, caramel, and toasted bread. The appearance is orange/red/brown with a medium head. The flavor is pretty much like the aroma. The palate is average. Overall I like the taste but it has some problems.
