COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Brewed in the northern style of an English ale. This light brown ale has a nice caramel and toasted malt flavor, combined with a fresh hoppy aroma that is slightly fruity. This is nicely complimented by a subtle bitterness that rounds out the palate.

Bottled. A slightly hazy dark amber beer with a thin tan head. The aroma is sweet malty with primary notes of caramel, but also light notes of alcohol. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of caramel, leading to a bitter and slightly dry finish. Thanks Papsoe.

(Bottle 48 cl) Courtesy of Degarth. Pours a hazy amber with a small, off-white head. Lightly burned caramel in the nose. A little thin in body with fruit and caramel accents - some overripe fruit also. Very subdued bitterness. 120108

16 fl oz bottle. Pours hazy orange/brown with a diminished off-white head. Caramel malty aroma. Flavour is slight herbal, mild honey like note in a caramel malt base. Finish is light spiced but mainly persisting caramel malt.

Bottle. Darkish roasted carmel malt aroma. Hazy ruby brown color with a low beige head. Medium body with creamy carbonation. The flavor is roasted malt with an odd fruity/floral/herb aspect. It’s a bit sweet, and there’s not enough bitter to balance it. I’ve been through Yorkshire, and I don’t think this is it, but it’s a pretty good drink.

Poured a medium and hazy brown color with an averaged sized off white head. Aromas of toasted malts, light caramel and I found this one to be a little fruity. Tastes of light caramel, nuts with light hops in the finish. Thinner body.

Bottle from Keg Liquor. Poured a clear brown color with an average frothy off-white head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate toasted malt, nut and fruit aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium balanced toasted sweet flavor with a medium sweet finish of moderate duration. Good drinkable brew.

Pours a deep copper with a grainy aroma. The mouthfeel is earthy, but there is a decent amount of flavor and the finish is mellow.

Amber, drinkable, watery. Bit of bitterness in finish. Maybe better than Newcastle as less sweet and nutty and more on the bitterness.Carbonation significant. molasses; brown sugar. Can see it being popular in the pubs, as it is in Florida
