Madison TJís bottle enjoyed for lunch at Wilderness water park. Iím no Vienna expert but this was tasty. A great lager with strong malt but also a hop bite. Full mouthfeel too. Cool that itís sessionable too. Tasty.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Hazy honey colored with an inch of white head. Aroma and taste are mild honey wheat germ cereal malt, and itís deceptively sweet, but not cloying on balance with its bitterness.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Comes out of the can a clear and pretty amber with a thick, if none too persistent, pale golden tan head. Malty aroma is none too strong - maybe the can didnít do this beer justice. Flavor has malty and fruity notes with a hoppy and slightly bitter undertone; the bitterness nicely balances the fruity sweetness. Nothing special, but refreshing and more than just palatable. Smooth texture has typical body and fizz. Maybe not worth tweeting all your friends, but fine for a laid-back afternoon or with lunch.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pours a golden amber color with a very bubbly head of foam. Scent is strong with grassy wheat, malts, and a slight touch of citrus. Taste is bold and refined. It is a smooth well blended mixture of wheat, hops, and malts. Is rather refreshing with a not too light/not to strong taste that drinks perfectly. Probably one of the best Vienna Lagers Iíve had to date.

2.8 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20
UPDATED: APR 21, 2013 Clear amber. Lasting small white head with some lace. Aroma is grassy, a little corn, butter, earth, caramel. Flavor is much the same. Body is light to medium. Mild bitter dry finish. This is a gateway beer - an ok one.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
12oz bottle. Pours a clear copperish amber color with a light tan two finger head. The aroma has notes of bread, caramel, lightly toasted malts, and faint grassy hops. Tastes of caramel malts up front followed by a hint of sweetness and toffee. Moves to a nicely hopped ending that leaves a little bitterness under a lasting sweet finish. Thick in the mouth, very smooth and creamy.

1.8 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
UPDATED: DEC 29, 2012 From a pounder bottle. looks like a darker hefe. A little soapy on the olfactory, but otherwise nuetral. Yes, vienna in nature, has that smooth malty thing going on, nearly has a gag reflex from the cloying sweetness which is so common in this style. Yes, seems a little higher in the alky content than listed. Vienna, a beer that takes some getting used to for me. Finosh is what else but sweet malty medicine. Not nearly as good as
