COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A delicate balance of toasted malt and fresh hops give this medium-bodied German style lager an intriguing complex flavor. A creamy head, deep golden color and an impressive hop bouquet make this a very special beer.

A bright orange/amber in color with a thin head. Aroma of light citrus hops and perhaps some oranges. I guess it was a tad medicinal. The flavor had a clean hop bitterness and a bit of butter and semi-sweet medium colored malt. The malt flavor was hard to pinpoint for me. Finishes clean. It is a bit basic, but pleasant.

(12oz bottle thanks to Cavie) clear amber pour with fine tan bubbles. Nose of sweet grain, toffee, a bit of trash, banana laffy taffy and peel, plus alcohol. Taste of old stale grain, banana, bit spicy, clove, and stale linger.

Good looking beer, pouring a bright orange body with a large spongey head. The aroma has caramel, vanilla, and quiet floral scents. In flavor it’s quite bready and has a drop of honey, a splash of caramel syrup, and a mild floral/herbal bitterness to balance it out. Quite quaffable.

Bottle and draft. Pours an amber body with an off white head. Chewy caramel notes, butter scotch, lighter liquid nuttiness and a caramel earthy bitter finish. Eh.

Amberish orange, smooth dense head. Bubbly carbonation. Smells bready, toasty, and slightly peppery. Mostly malty flavor - bready, touch of caramel. Maybe a little bit of a peppery finish. Pretty run of the mill.

Pailhead (5376) - Plymouth, Michigan, USA - DEC 30, 2007
UPDATED: DEC 31, 2007 Bottle: The aroma consists of butterscotch, light fruit, and faint grain. It pours a transparent amber with a small off-white head. The flavor starts with a pretty intense sour fruitiness. The finish has faint notes of butterscotch and grain that struggle to get thru the sourness. Light-bodied with a slightly watery mouthfeel. Pretty rough.

Amber pour with creamy off white head. Aroma is sweet caramel malt. Sweet caramel malt with a very subtle floral bitter hop finish. Good carbonation on a medium bodied beer. A bit of a metallic finish.

A very aromatic beer. The aromas of cinnamon, apples, and caramel jump out. Flavor is spicy and fruity with a nice hop background. Some carbonation might help the palate. Alcohol seems higher than 5% and provides a nice warming effect. An interesting and well crafted beer.

This Vienna pours a golden amber color from a 16oz bottle. Medium sized white foamy head. Aroma is caramel malts and floral hops. A medium bodied Vienna. Malts are caramel sweet with a touch of malt roastyness. Hops are floral and a touch earthy. Nice balance. Smooth taste. Very decent Vienna. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is clean and crisp. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.

Sprecher’s oldest style of beer. Pours a clear golden amber with a medium thick white head. Aroma of smoked barley malt and nuts. Taste of sweet bread, walnuts and good mix of hops. A little yeast aftertaste and then a clean finish. A good brew.
