Bottle. Poured into a Weltenburger mug without much head. Aroma is metallic with roasted caramel. Not a good sign. Flavor is sticky sweet with a lingering buttery finish. Some breadiness with a light grassy, hoppiness. The beer sucks. I just cant get over the metallic scent.

Aug 3, 2008 Bottle. Pours orange with an off white head. Arom ais caramel, butterscotch, and floral hops. Medium body. Flavor is toasty, with caramel, honey, and floral hops. Pretty good.

Jul 12, 2008 Bottle. Goodbar Beer Club. Nose is honey & hot dogs w. mustyness. Odd to say the least. Flavor is caramel , some noble hop, toffee. Somewhat cloying with a bunch of honey in the finish.

Jun 30, 2008 Bottle purchased at Corral Liquors, in Granite City, IL. Pours a slightly hazy amber-orange with a thin, creamy, off-white cap. The nose is a muted, lightly toasted malt with a subtle fruity hop note in support. Light to medium-bodied and slick, the mouthfeel transitions to a lightly grainy and mildly dry finish. Sweet and fruity toasted malt with a light hop bite. A decent, quaffable session brew, but following Brooklyn Lager, it pales by comparison.

Jun 13, 2008 16oz Bottle. Pours a dark amber/orange with a nice, white, lingering head that laces very nicely. Aroma is mainly sweet malts with a hint of hop presence but nothing super notable. The flavor comes in sweet in the front with a bit of bitter at the end. So I guess that makes it fairly balanced. :) I do feel that there could be a little more to the flavor, it’s a fairly "safe" beer, however, it’s not bad.
