Excellent beer. Obviously, very dark in color and dark head. Smells just like chocolate and peanut butter. Tastes just like it should. Good flavor. Nice aftertaste. Great beer! Will have another one for sure!

FROTHINGSLOSH (3977) - GREENSBURG, Pennsylvania, USA - MAY 13, 2013
Sampled from a 22 oz brown bottle this beer poured a dark black color with a medium sized foamy darkish brown head that lingered and left a bit of lacing. The aroma was roasty malts, Baker’s chocolate, vanilla and a bit of peanut. The flavor was roasty and dryish with a faint nutty presence, moderate Baker’s chocolate, vanilla and hints of coffee and wood. Long dry and roasty finish with lingering nut and chocolate. Moderately full bodied and smooth. Interesting.

On tap at Mcgrath’s in Harrisburg. Pour is black with tight foamy mocha brown head. Nose is peanut butter brittle with a muted bakers chocolate. Taste is much of the same with a slightly off cardboard and ashy flavor behind. Dry bitter finish on a creamy body and slightly thinning out in the end.

Sampled at DLD 2013. It poured a dark brown color with a small tan head. The aroma was of peanuts and peanut butter with chocolate, roast and some earthy notes. The taste was similar to the aroma, very nice.

Black pour, khaki head and light striped sticky lacing ... Aroma of chocolate, peanut butter and roasted malts ... taste is of chocolate, light roasted malts with very light peanut butter and a bitter hop bite ... the peanut butter is mostly in the aroma ... has a creamy mouthfeel with a dry roasted and chocolatey finish and some lingering bitter bite .... solid stout abv hidden well .... one of the better attempts at a peanut butter stout

Great peanut butter and chocolate nose with a nice chocolate after taste. Great unique stout beer. I will definitely be drinking again.

Bottle. Pours pitch black with a small tanned head. Aroma is roasted malty, chocolate, peanuts, milky some coffee. Flavor similar to aroma, medium bitterness, slightly acidic. Finishes roasted bitter.

UPDATED: MAY 17, 2013 Sample from Bill at Barcade. Poured dark brown with tannish head. Notes of chocolate wafer cookies, and light peanut butter. Thats about all she wrote. Pretty nice brew. Straight up sugar wafers.
