Excellent beer. Obviously, very dark in color and dark head. Smells just like chocolate and peanut butter. Tastes just like it should. Good flavor. Nice aftertaste. Great beer! Will have another one for sure!

Bottle thanks to Chow. Pours black with medium tan head leaving spotty lacing. The aroma is strong chocolate, peanut butter, roast. Thick mouth, chewy, cocoa, peanut butter, nice sweetness, vanilla, light booze, really enjoyed this.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Delicious and complex imperial stout. The aroma and flavor were both complex and dominated by roasted malt, coffee and chocolate. Thick and chewy. The finish brought out even more flavors. Vanilla and sweer grains with just a hint of bitter dark chocolate. Good carbonation. Nice beer

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Can to shaker glass, pours pitch black. Small light tan head, minimal lacing and retention. Smells like a Reese’s peanut butter cup. Taste is sweet without being cloying, nice bitterness in the background. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, silky mouth feel. Finishes long. Tasting notes of chocolate, peanut butter, oak, vanilla, dark roasted malt and tree nuts. I didn’t think I would like this but I was wrong! A very tasty local offering.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle. Poured a hazy brown color with a medium foamy tan head. Aromas of peanut butter and chocolate hit the nose. Flavor was peanut butter, chocolate, vanilla, and some wood notes. Full body, creamy texture, average carbonation, easy finish. Very good PB beer.

4.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bottle shared by Matthew Wirtz, thanks! Quite straightforward in aroma, with lots of peanut and chocolate. However the flavour has an unexpected hoppy twist of moderate intensity - remains under peanut and roast, but discernible with a fruity and grassy flavour. Moderate body, well attenuated. I love these peanut beers.

Pours a pitch black body. Head is 1/5th of an inch and beige in color. Head retention and lacing are above average.
Smell is pure peanut butter and milk chocolate. Seriously smells like someone blended a bag of reeses peanut butter cups into a stout. Tons of sweetness present, alcohol and hops not detected.
Taste is similar to smell, rich peanut butter first, sweet milk chocolate next, finishes with some burnt malt, almost coffee like. Hops and alcohol aren’t present, drinks very smooth for 8% alcohol.
Mouthfeel is somewhat light for a peanut butter stout, carbonation levels were good. Wish the head was thicker.
Overall, really enjoyed this beer. Best peanut butter beer I’ve had. If it had a bigger body, that would really make it world class.

What a shocker that this is 8.5 abv. Drinking from sampler at the Taproom. I was about to rate this sweet stout and then I see its an impy stout that just tastes like a sweet stout with peanut butter and chocolate. Its sweet from the adjuncts not from sugar. Once you get past the peanut butter and chocolate, its actually a dry finish, a bit minerally, light roast. he adjuncts really hide the any possibly acidity or alcohol but I am not sure these are present anyway. I am not a fan of gimmicky adjuncts but this is done well. Its not a Southern Tier like diabetes job, I don’t actually love peanut butter but this works well in this beer. I would say, if I were to drink a peanut butter, chocolate fondue, gimmicky, impy stout, this would be the one.
