Bomber. Honestly better than I was expecting. You do get plenty of peanuts on the nose and taste along with some fruitiness. I have had far worse gimmicky beers than this one.

Shared by JCB. Dark black pour with one finger of tan head. Peanut butter and roast with a moderate sweetness in the aroma. Toasted nuts and roast in the flavor, peanuty with some earthy notes. Medium bodied.

Not as good as its big brother, but still uniquely Spring House and good. Slight sweet for the jelly. Touch of nutty for the peanut.

8oz pour at Al’s of Hampden pours a murky black with some creamy, beige head. Nose has a lot of chocolate, some malt, brown sugar, molasses, mild grapey-ness. Flavor has mild coffee, heavy dark chocolate, cherry, grape, plenty of molasses, cocoa. Malty, sweet finish.

Draft at Churchkey during DC Craft Beer Week. Not sure who’s beer this was, but thanks! Pitch black color, smooth black oil notes, with a small tan head. Aroma was light roast, plenty of nutty notes, grape jelly notes. Flavor was like a liquid peanut butter and jelly donuts. Interesting. pretty good. Will keep my eye out for this one in the future.

22oz bottle. Dark thick ale with a rich, well balanced flavor and aromatic profile. Creamy smooth. Peanut butter lends more of an enticing very nutty note than just one that’s specifically pb. Subtle contribution of (grape?) jelly. Fine, rich, nut bread aftertaste.

Pours a dark cola into a shaker. Mocha head quickly crackles and recedes to skim surface. Peanut, vanilla, and milk chocolate aromas. Sharp and watery upfront turning to chocolate and peanut in the medium length sweet grape finish.

Pours deep black with a small brown head that slowly dissipated. Aroma is peanut butter and jelly (raspberry comes through), dark chocolate and roast. Taste is sweet with a hint of tartness. Medium bodied, smooth texture and overall a very solid stout. The sweetness is perfectly tempered.

Tap at the brewery. Pours opaque black with a medium, creamy tan head, medium retention with excellent lacing. Aroma is roast, chocolate and nutty malt, grapes and vanilla. Flavor is malt dominant, sweet chocolate and nutty notes, grapes and a sweet finish. Full body and medium carbonation.
