Draft at Churchkey during DC Craft Beer Week. Not sure who’s beer this was, but thanks! Pitch black color, smooth black oil notes, with a small tan head. Aroma was light roast, plenty of nutty notes, grape jelly notes. Flavor was like a liquid peanut butter and jelly donuts. Interesting. pretty good. Will keep my eye out for this one in the future.

22oz bottle. Dark thick ale with a rich, well balanced flavor and aromatic profile. Creamy smooth. Peanut butter lends more of an enticing very nutty note than just one that’s specifically pb. Subtle contribution of (grape?) jelly. Fine, rich, nut bread aftertaste.

Pours a dark cola into a shaker. Mocha head quickly crackles and recedes to skim surface. Peanut, vanilla, and milk chocolate aromas. Sharp and watery upfront turning to chocolate and peanut in the medium length sweet grape finish.

Pours deep black with a small brown head that slowly dissipated. Aroma is peanut butter and jelly (raspberry comes through), dark chocolate and roast. Taste is sweet with a hint of tartness. Medium bodied, smooth texture and overall a very solid stout. The sweetness is perfectly tempered.

Bottle shared by a friend. Darkest brown to black pour with a medium beige head. Aroma of peanut butter, some fruit and malt. Malty and peanut butter flavor with blackberry character before a nutty finish.

22oz bottle from The Beer Shoppe in Philly. Drank on my birthday with JohnGonk. Pours black in color with a thick frothy mocha head. Aroma of a peanut butter and jelly sandwich, with notes of chocolate and roasted malt. Taste of roasted peanuts, sweet Concord grapes, burnt malts, and chocolate. Really interesting and pretty damn good!

On tap at Bottle Bar East for beer week. Aroma is peanut butter, chocolate, and slight molasses. Pours black brown with a small bubbly brown head. Taste is peanut chew, peanut butter chocolate, fudge, snickers bar, and just a hint of fruity barbeque sauce. Didn’t get too much fruit but it’s still pretty delicious.
