(Sample Date: 1/19/2011 Source:Other) Coffee and lots of it in the aroma. Dark caramelized sugars to back. Clear very dark amber brown with little. Flavor of coffee with lots of vanilla and some smoky pepper notes. Dry and lightly astringent. Medium body and mouth feel. Finish is dry with coffee flavor lingering.

Pours a barely transparent dark mahogany with a stringy lacing beige head. Has a fresh roasty coffee nose with some toasty dark caramel notes. Starts with average fullness and a touch of sweet caramel maltiness drying out with a bitter roasty earthy coffee finish. Could use a little more sweetness, but still a good coffee stout.
