Draft at Tattooed Mom. Very dark brown pour with an overflowing dark brown head. Looks like a dark chocolate milk shake. Dark charcoal porter/stout notes. Unsweetened cocoa nibs. And yes the mint is definitely there as well, though it reads more as a thin mint flavoring than mulled mint leaves. Thankfully not sweet at all. Creamy finish. Unusual. Bit silly, but worth trying.

Aroma - a lot of pleasant aromas here, chocolate, mint - (much like Girl Scoutís Thin Mints) ~ nice and sweet
Appearance - dark brown/black body; opaque liquid; head is huge and beautiful about 2 1/2" brown head ~ that slowly subsides (also nitrogen look when it pours); great lacing all the way down the glass - great looking beer.
Taste - roastier than I would have guessed based on the aroma; chocolately, and some subdued mint. Sweet, but also a little roast bitterness - not much though
Palate - body is medium; texture is kind of thin for a stout; carbonation is average; and the finish is roast and medium in length a little bitter, but not too much.
Again, as Iíve said before, I am in love with this brewery. I canít say enough good things.

On tap at the Knick. The smell is like Andes Candies chocolate mints. That is all. Dark black opaque with thin cocoa-tan lacing head. Medium body with medium carbonation. Tastes like Andes Candies. I think this is the first minty beer Iíve tried. Interesting. Light hop bitter finish with lingering sweet mint flavor. OK, but I couldnít drink a lot of this.

Tap. Pours a clear dark brown body under a small fizzy light brown head. The nose is pretty awesome, smells exactly like a box of Girl Scout thin mint cookies. Just a little big of roastiness makes it past the mint, but thereís plenty of chocolate cookie in here. The flavor mimics the cookies pretty dam well too. A nice restrained but notable mint flavor over a chocolaty and roasty malt. Finishes with a lingering chocolate cookie note. Medium bodied with a watery texture and soft fizzy carbonation. Pretty damn awesome Stout. Really well done flavorings that donít overwhelm, but donít get lost either.

This beer comes as advertised, the mint and the chocolate are evident and pair well together for a good dessert beer.

On tap at Capones 2013 Black Friday event. Dark brown, almost black, with a creamy tan head. Roasted malt and chocolate mint liquor. High carbonation and moderate body, sweet, more chocolate chip mint ice cream on the palate. Could smell this forever but not sure I would drink too much again.

Pours a near black with a dark tan head. Aroma of creme de menthe and chocolate syrup. Taste is sweet bit not overly the roasted malt and bitterness from the hops blends nicely with the mint. Well crafted. Very good.
