3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Strong mango fruit aroma and flavor, Mango blends well with citrus hops and caramel hops. Not sure if this qualifies as a true IPA, but a tasty beer nonetheless.

Great ipa that should be enjoyed by all. Don't let the mango fool you. Subtle hints of mango only enough to leave a flavorful taste in your mouth. Very good IPA.

Draft at the taproom. Pours clear medium brown with a thin Lizzy off white head and decent lacing. Tastes sweet and hoppy, like orange. Mango, and light bitterness. Light/medium body and low carbonation. Smells like hops, grapefruit, and orange.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Clear deep amber color, frothy off-white head. Sticky aroma of mango, caramel malt, citrus, and hay. Mild bittersweet taste with more residual bitterness. Oily, smooth, average carbonation. A bit too heavy and malty for an IPA. Very small alcohol presence.

DATE TASTED: October 31, 2013... GLASSWARE: Maudite snifter... OCCASION: Halloween beer drinking while listening to Bloom-Shipp on the radio... APPEARANCE: dark ruby-brown body; sparse, arching lacing spawned from two-finger off-white head... AROMA: sharp, highly citric hops--a bit of bubblegum and tangerine/mango--flavorful...PALATE: medium-to-full bodied mouthfeel that laces the tongue and warms the throat--full of fortitude...TASTE: fruity, zesty, teeth-rattling hops that coat and clot the mouth with pears, mangoes and apples...OVERALL: more spoils of fantasy sports from Ryan; besides bragging rights, I am treated to some of PA’s better micros, and though Conestoga is not a brewery I’ve sampled before, it will be one I seek bombers from in the future, considering the substantial quality of this fruit bomb of an IPA ...

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Tap. Pours a clear dark copper body with a small tight bubbled off-white head. The nose is really heavy and sweet caramel with just some minimal mango notes. The mango is much stronger on the flavor, but still doesn’t come off as overdone. Still a very heavy caramel malt base under it all, some minimal bitterness on the finish. Medium bodied, soft gentle carbonation. Lingering sweetness. Decent beer, but not a great IPA.

2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Brassy orange body with a creamy head. Nicely perky mango aroma with some co-humulone hop heaviness providing a weird edge, that detracts moreso on first sip. Bitter mango finish. Mango and musky, co-humulone-forward hop heaviness don’t quite mesh.
