Dark color from bottle. Smells like egg nog, nutmeg, cinnamon, peppermint, spices, coffee and vanilla. Also an oaky stout. Sweet, but balanced with bite from the hops. Pretty good. Very unique.

Bottle. Pours brown/black with a creamy tan head. Aroma of chocolate, nutmeg, cinnamon and some eggnog. Flavor of bitter chocolate, cinnamon, vanilla, nutmeg, eggnog and had a touch of coffee.

Bottle. Pours a flat black body under a one finger frothy brown head. Nose is very interesting, a mix of chocolate, roast, cream, light nutmeg. You really can smell egg nog, itís quite weird. The flavor is pretty great, nice roastiness balanced with the egg nog sweetness and the subtle spicing. Really a pretty nice beer, donít think I could do a growler full, but one is really good.

Really tasty stout. Iím not a huge fan of egg nog, but I can barely taste any remote hints of it. I do taste a subtle note of cream in the flavor, but other than that, coffee and light milk chocolate seem to dominate this beer. The beer pours a pure-black color with a small but nicely-lacing, dark tan head. There is a ton of coffee in the nose, along with some cream, milk chocolate and a hint of floral hops. The body is full and smooth, with flavors of coffee, vanilla, cream, chocolate, light floral hops and a hint of toasted bread. The finish is balanced nicely with more coffee, but the creamy notes seem to shine through a little more. That leaves an extremely pleasant flavor on the palate and gets me ready for the next sip. This stout is very well-done and perfect for the fall and winter months.

bomber, the start of "cellar cleaning" you know what, wasnt terrible, a strong start to the worst 12 beers in the cellar. Definitely egg nog in there, light sweetness, maybe lactose? Booze moderately hidden and doesnít finish with diabeetus. Average and pretty damn interesting. Worth a try.

Odd beer but not that bad. Aroma is egg nog, nutmeg, cinnamon, vanilla and cocoa. Taste is very sweet kind of overwhelming but not bad. I had horrid expectations but meh.

Draft at the source. Brown color. Aroma of nutty vanilla. Taste is vanilla and cocoa. Odd enough to see pumkin beers in August, but Christmas beers??

Tap at the brewery. Pours clear black with a medium, frothy tan head, medium retention with good lacing. Aroma is roast and sweet chocolate malt, light lactose notes, dates and figs. Flavor is dark sweet malt dominant with chocolate, dark fruits, no hops and a sweet finish. Full body and medium carbonation.

Pours as dark a beer as Iíve ever seen, light wonít pass through, with a light brown head. Aroma is nutmeg, sweet coconut, booze. Taste is an assault of flavors of nutmeg, cinnamon, chocolate, coffee, root beer. Light on mouthfeel otherwise this would be a perfect cold night winter brew.

22 ounce bottle thanks to Greg. Egg nog. Chocolate. Sweet flavor throughout. Cinnamon. Very different.
