Black pour under a medium dark tan head, subtle egg nog flavor, nicely sweet and sticky, Alcohol strength must be in there somewhere, but it’s nicely hidden. Most excellent.

4.5 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
UPDATED: APR 5, 2015 One of my favorites. Tastes deep and rich with cocoa and slight coffee. The sweetness is very much dedicated to a winter warmer with creamy milk stout. The egg nog spices are present. Good job! Tap

Dark color from bottle. Smells like egg nog, nutmeg, cinnamon, peppermint, spices, coffee and vanilla. Also an oaky stout. Sweet, but balanced with bite from the hops. Pretty good. Very unique.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle. Pours a flat black body under a one finger frothy brown head. Nose is very interesting, a mix of chocolate, roast, cream, light nutmeg. You really can smell egg nog, it’s quite weird. The flavor is pretty great, nice roastiness balanced with the egg nog sweetness and the subtle spicing. Really a pretty nice beer, don’t think I could do a growler full, but one is really good.

4.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Really tasty stout. I’m not a huge fan of egg nog, but I can barely taste any remote hints of it. I do taste a subtle note of cream in the flavor, but other than that, coffee and light milk chocolate seem to dominate this beer. The beer pours a pure-black color with a small but nicely-lacing, dark tan head. There is a ton of coffee in the nose, along with some cream, milk chocolate and a hint of floral hops. The body is full and smooth, with flavors of coffee, vanilla, cream, chocolate, light floral hops and a hint of toasted bread. The finish is balanced nicely with more coffee, but the creamy notes seem to shine through a little more. That leaves an extremely pleasant flavor on the palate and gets me ready for the next sip. This stout is very well-done and perfect for the fall and winter months.

bomber, the start of "cellar cleaning" you know what, wasnt terrible, a strong start to the worst 12 beers in the cellar. Definitely egg nog in there, light sweetness, maybe lactose? Booze moderately hidden and doesn’t finish with diabeetus. Average and pretty damn interesting. Worth a try.
