750ml Bottle: Aroma of Belgian yeast, light hops, and light cherries. Poured amber in color with a tiny, off-white head that disappeared quickly. Hazy. Sparkling. Flavor is light to medium sweet. Tastes of cherries, light malts, and hops. Medium body. Thin, lightly dry texture. Average carbonation. Slight cherry, light malt, and light hop finish is lightly dry. 9.4%ABV is completely hidden throughout which earns an extra point.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Growler from the Brewery. Golden body with a thin head that disappears quickly. cherry and spice aroma... flavor filled with cherry, a little sour, with the typical flavor or a farmhouse saison... lighter carbonation... overall not a bad beer, better then some of the others Iíve had from Spring House

2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Brewed in the USA.... Courtesy of AFI96 of the Devonshire Knights. Pours a lite orange color with a small white head. Aroma of fruits and mild spices. Taste is of funk, grass, and has some musty notes. The mouthfeel is warming because of the 9% alcohol. I like most of the brews from Spring House, but this one was not quite what i expected.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Growler courtesy of BigBen, toughest guy in Centre couny. Poured hazy orange with a small ring of lace. Fruity, cherry nose with also some slight wildflowers evident. Mild carbonation. Starts smooth but quickly the farmhouse funk takes over with a wheaty, peppery bite. Finishes tart with cherries and candy sugar present. Slight warming alcohol noticeable. A fine offering.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
UPDATED: NOV 28, 2008 Growlered, from the brewery, served in a Duvel tulip. Hazy light orange body topped by a small white head. Smell is white pepper, tart cherry, dough, lightly phenolic. Taste is very fruity, some tart cherry, wheat, pepper, light amount of grass, slightly medicinal. Finishes tart and dry with a good deal of warmth. Leaves a fuzzy coating all over the tongue much like a wheat beer, though the brewer insisted that there was no wheat used in it. Pretty damn good for an American saison.
